We needed prompt and professional help finding a choice of care homes in York and were given a variety of choices and advice which proved to be invaluable as our quest became an emergency and we needed respite care for my father in law. Janene and Paulina kept in touch and made sure my father in law was settled and safe. Our family was so appreciative of the service as it saved us a lot of ringing around. We got a selection of care homes to choose from who contacted us and were equally helpful

What a fabulous service and such a caring team. First time we have needed to find convalescence care for mum following a recent fall at home. I found carehome.co.uk on line and what a god send. Laura was so understanding and certainly knew her onions. After a good chat Laura went away and sourced and contacted half a dozen suitable placements for mum. Even when our best laid plans we delayed Laura kept in touch and made sure we were still on track. Fab service and have already been sharing my experience and recommendation with friends and family.

I have been looking for a care home for my Dad for 6 weeks. I was finding this difficult phoning around to find a home which was afordable and had vacancies. I phoned carehome.co.uk for advice and they helped me to find the perfect home for him. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for care. Janene was so helpful, she sent me a list of homes in my area and also contacted them on my behalf. From that list I was able to read reviews and inspectorate reports and create a favourites folder on the carehomes.co.uk website. She also emailed regularly to ask how the search was going and sent me helpful links for advice on funding etc.I am happy to say that my Dad is moving into a lovely home next week.

She contacted them on my behalf and they then contacted me. Arranged several visits. Janene did so much of the leg work which made if so less stressful for me. A fabulous service

I was very impressed with the service from carehome.co.uk - there was a wealth of information on the website that was easy to sort by name or area, and there was a summary of what each care home provided, links to each website and the facility to order a brochure.My search was quite specific so I asked the team to conduct a search for me - Laura was superb at coming up with a short-list and tweaking it as we went along. She was thorough, friendly, polite and professional; a pleasure to work with and I think she deserves a bonus for her patience, and all the time and effort she put in to what turned out to be a very tricky search!I would not hesitate to recommend carehome.co.uk as a necessary tool in your search for a care home for your loved one.

When I first contacted Carehome.co.uk after my relative needed to find a care home I spoke to Dawn who from start to finish was excellent. After a couple of questions about my Aunt I was sent a short-list of homes that met her criteria in my borough. Each home on the short-list had all the relevant information including websites, ratings, fees etc. I found a great home for my aunt which was top of the shortlist, she is now settled and happy. I contacted the Care Help service as I was looking for a care home for my mother-in-law and didn't know where to start. I spoke to Janene who took lots of information and then emailed me a short list of local care homes based on our needs. She also contacted a number of them on our behalf, so rather than me having to ring around they contacted me if they had a vacancy. While I was trying to narrow down the options, I went back to Janene quite a few times to ask questions - she always answered me promptly and gave me some really useful information about what to look for, reasons for her shortlisting certain places, etc. The service from carehome.co.uk was extremely useful, as like many people in this position I had no experience of looking for a care home and was overwhelmed by the options. Janene made it seem very straightforward, and we have now chosen a suitable place. If we have need again, I would go back to the service for more help. Thank you for this brilliant service!

Paulina was an absolute star from the onset. She gave me a good run down of how the process of searching for a care home works, giving me great guidance and understanding. Sent me updated shortlists to consider, provided details of other agencies she thought could aid my search and kept in contact to see how it was all going. The information she provided me with made me feel so much more enabled in the whole process. I should add she was incredibly kind and understanding during what was a sad and tough task to complete. Thanks Paulina. I will definitely be recommending your services to others.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Using this service took away so much of the burden of choosing a suitable care home. Janene was extremely efficient, also personable and she gathered information about my mum's care needs without asking for too much detail. I felt she treated me and my mum totally as people and not as sources of information to put in a form. Can't recommend the service highly enough!
