In my opinion, this platform seems to apply an uneven level of scrutiny to reviews. From what I have observed, genuine negative feedback based on lived experience appears to be heavily vetted, while "perfect" positive reviews, which I find questionable, seem to be accepted without the same level of vetting.

Good website and staff advice particularly for someone not familiar with care homes. Staff very efficient and attentive and followed up. Some of the individual care homes were slow to respond though.

I was guaranteed a list of care homes for my grandmother by email after speaking to one of your colleagues however I never received the email and have had to start from scratch. So no I have not had a good experience with your company

Janay took a lot of time learning about my (or rather my father's) needs. I was very anxious at the time and she was amazingly supportive and helpful. The daily updates on the list she sent were indicative of how up-to-date the information I received was.

I was immediately made to feel that support was available whilst negotiating this absolute minefield and that Paulina was very passionate and understanding in her role.Paulina ascertained all personal relevant details of my 94yr old mother and provided a list of care homes which appeared to suit her needs.Paulina also kept in regular contact offering help and advice on our journey which was greatly appreciated.Result being that a most suitable residential care home namely Llantarnam Lodge Newport South Wales was found and accepted.....Thankyou carehome.co.uk

3 companies that I had issues with, I wrote into this site to inform them. I mentioned that I depended on their site for authentic reviews, 5 stars across the board (for bluebird care & homeinstead care specifically) and they refused to add these negative reviews. That's highly suspect.There are also 2 other care homes on here that my friends have had to move their mothers from - due to mistreatment and abuse and again, this site did not accept their review. Something is very wrong here.

Paulina Frisby is a real credit to your team. I was feeling completely bewildered as to which care-homes were suitable for my father and Paulina listened to all my concerns and all my father's requirements and made a brilliant (and completely impartial) shortlist of suitable homes. She then even reached out to them on my behalf. It was amazing to give my father options, knowing that any one of them would be a good fit.Thank you Paulina for being so friendly, so considerate, and so helpful. It made the experience so less stressful and isolating.

I thought Brandon was going to be my husband's only nursing home how wrong was I. A warning your relative can be given 28day notice to vacate the home anytime Obviously profits are more important than the residents. Majority of the staff are excellent with a few individuals letting the home down. Management do not communicate to their staff and relatives. Communication and leadership require updating. Nutrition needs improvement & staff need to be educated. It is not appropriate to allow someone to go from 82.5kg to 62.5kg in 8 1/2 months. On speaking to the GP reference weight loss did his nutritional intake and weight gain improve yet 5 weeks previous when I spoke to management it was not acted upon or if they did it was not communicated. Knowing a resident is a diabetic why give biscuits, cake with their cups of tea resulting high blood sugars which had impact on his behaviour. A verbal and written handover to new home had incorrect medical conditions which could resulted in harm

my name is Sylvia Evans my husband Robin was in Pinetum in Chester for 10 years. Sadly my husband passed away on the 13/3/22 from the first day he had 100% care. Robin was bedridden throughout his stay. He never had a bed soar The only time he had soar was when he returned from hospital the staff at Pinetum are a hard working and always had time for Robin his life was saved by their fast reaction they saved his life 3 times. Even after robin passing the staff still stay in contact with me .They are like second family to me. thank you Emma and all the great team STAY SAFE AND THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.BLESS YOU ALL.

TrustpilotMy Mum was moved to Clifton Court…
My Mum was moved to Clifton Court Nursing Home, (Rugby, Warwickshire, England ), in July 2020. I was unable to visit the home, due to covid so I was given a virtual tour. I had many conversations with the manager beforehand, (who might I add is lovely), and based on this and the virtual tour, I decided it seemed right for my Mum. She’s been there for two years in July, and it was the best decision I made. The assisted living accommodation, which was brilliant, was no longer safe enough for her as she’s an avid wanderer. I’m so glad she got a place at Clifton Court, I know longer have to worry. They always ring you if there’s a problem. The home itself is bright and clean and every single room has its own toilet and sink, which most homes don’t. This was a real must for my Mum as she would have been unable to find the toilet if it wasn’t in her room. All of the staff that I’ve met so far have been lovely. They are so good with Mum, when I’ve seen them first hand with her it’s so nice, she’s relaxed and happy. They have a good menu too, I look forward to when I can join her for dinner there. The garden has been landscaped and is just a lovely area to walk around and sit in. There’s a massive fish pond and a sensory part in the garden too, which are also great for residents. It has an ample seating area outside on the large patio and room to run around if you want to take the little ones to visit. The view in the garden overlooks fields of sheep, which is also nice and relaxing. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Clifton Court for looking after my Mum and being her extended family you are all amazing! I really don’t know what my Mum or myself would have done without you.

Kerry was amazing and so helpful with a very urgent need for assisted to find respite care for my mother who was awaiting her next hospital placement with a 2 week delay. This delay was unexpected and we therefore had 48 hours to find a temporary care home. Kerry helped identify several homes in 2 different counties within a matter of hours. With the stress unfortunately linked to scenarios such as ours, Kerry did all the heavy lifting and allowed us to focus on other important issues that needed urgent attention. I would like to Express my gratitude for all the care and kindness provided by hillside nursing home in huyton the care was above and beyond expectations the kindness they showed to our father Tom bew we will forever be grateful from domestics odd job man nurses care staff and administrative staff, night staff. Dad was made welcome from the moment he moved in and very happy there to the point he called it home. The nursing home should be acknowledged for all the hard work and individual care shown to each resident. Highly recommend all our love chris and angie..
