Google"As a tree surgery & garden maintenance company I have the pleasure in providing services to the Winkworth, Southernhay Office in 2016/17. I found their approach to be very professional, polite and both Natalie and James from the property management team handled any access arrangements with the tennents very smoothly. We had to make arrangements to carefully dismantle a 25 foot tall birch tree in a back garden with no access, except through the house. The works were done and the tennent even left biscuits as well. I was delighted that they were moved to phone and say how well everything had been arranged and this was in large part to the property teams liaison. I would have no hesitation in recommending Winkworth as good choice when selecting a good letting agency. Paul Sands Tree Services, Dawlish."

GoogleFantastic I have been a tenant of a property managed by Winkworth Lettings since April 2016 and the service they have provided has been outstanding throughout. Winkworth deal with emails and communications the same day and resolve property issues as soon as they possibly can. These agents are accessible and are committed to helping tenants, rather than making a quick buck at someone else's expense like other agents. For instance, I locked myself out one day and Winkworth let me borrow their spare set of keys (once they had seen ID) without being awkward or insisting that I used a locksmith. I have not experienced all of the complicated adminstrative procedures and unfair policies and charges, again like those I have experienced with other letting agents. I am aware that Winkworth has a good relationship with my landlord too. I would definitely recommend Winkworth Lettings to both tenants and landlords.

GoogleExcellent service from Mica, who showed us around the properties. She was on time to all the appointments and was easy to deal with. We were given the space and time to view the properties how we wanted - no rush, no pushy salesmanship, just friendly and welcoming. It was nice that all our viewings were made to be with the same agent so that she could understand what we wanted and address that, giving us a relaxed familiarity about it all.

The flat I booked and paid for when I arrived was firstly and the boiler didn't work. I went back to their office to inform them what I saw they answered it wasn't their responsibility. I asked for another flat from their offer they I could rent instead. First I heard there was none. And later when I referred to their web site where a flat was advertised they said so needed more references. When it was coming to the end of my six months rental contract the Winkwoth Exeter started doing viewings with clients without my knowledge. At the end I was held responsible for a stain on the carpet and 50 pounds from my deposit was taken without any check by an appropriate body for which I asked and was entitled to. No more Winkworth. The very synonym and embodiment of lack of professionalism.

GoogleI highly recommend Winkworth to anyone looking to rent property in Exeter. Their team is reliable, honest and value customer care. Mica in particular was extremely helpful in helping my partner and I find a new home while we were away dealing with emergencies.

GoogleWinkworth (formerly Solo Properties) is without a doubt the worst way to find yourself a new home. Our experience with them included our moving in date being put back three times leaving us homeless for a month, no inventory and I'm still waiting for our deposit to be returned a month after we have moved out. Their communication skills are extremely poor and don't be fooled by the new name, they are still Solo Properties, putting the customer firmly at the bottom of the pile. Terrible.

All the staff is very friendly and helpful, we have built a very good relationship over the years. They have not just acted on behalf of the landlord but also supported us as tenants. They always acted promptly and precisely. I highly recomend them
