Good experience all round. It's a shame that agents are working the way that they do at the moment with the landlord selecting who they feel is the "best" candidate as a Tennant. I dont think it's the best way to operate and actually I think it creates more work for everyone than is necessary. Just thought I would add that in. Nothing against Winkworth... they all seem to do it this way.

Within a month of them taking over our previous property management for our rented house, they have stopped communications halfway through arranging a property inspection, and then given us a notice that they are increasing our rent. This is absolutely despicable after a pandemic when people are financially struggling. I appreciate that the rent market is increasing but after spending over 18 months of paying regular, reliable rent for this property it's good to know that that is not valued at all over making an extra bit of money. Tom Bedford came to value my property and provided my with a huge amount of knowledge of the current market, a realistic valuation and a great service. Although I am not on the market yet he keeps in touch with me without being forceful. Will definitely use Winkworth when I am ready to sell.

About 6 months ago changed agents and let my property through Winkworth and I am very pleased I did. I felt I was always chasing my previous agents when I shouldn't have been - I don't have this trouble with Winkworth and it's lovely! The whole team are helpful, friendly and informative. Dreadful agency. Uncaring and arrogant-my student son emailed the office 3 times about a worry they had over security, they just ignored him.When I intervened they stated that the obviously inadequate security is standard and made excuses that they are so busy they can’t reply to emails.Strange that, since they ignored his emails repeatedly last tear too. Students, go elsewhere, this bunch are disrespectful and should be ashamed of themselves.

We bought through Winkworth, and were particularly impressed by the way that they listened to our requirements, and offered us 2 properties both of which were appropriate and the second of which was the one we bought, abd love! As we were on their list, we got to see the house before anyone else, which was vital in this summer's frenzied market. We recently bought a property that was listed with Winkworth Estate Agents. We mainly had contact with Tom Bedford and Christine Walmsley and we always received highly professional and a very friendly service from the very first viewing of the property until completion. As is often the case, buying a house can be quite a long and stressful procedure at times but whenever we needed to speak to them we always felt they had the time to reassure and provide information to keep us fully informed of progress.
