GoogleAbsolutely brilliant. We instructed Winkworth on the sale of our home. Chris, Bryony and Sam have been fantastic, responsive and easy to work with. They lined up viewings really quickly and gave us feed back after each one. They also chased our buyer and their solicitors when things were not moving as quickly as they should. Friendly, professional and we would highly recommend to anyone.

GoogleI am not a customer of Winkworth but I work with the team on occasions, to carry out Independent Inventories/checkouts on their behalf, and I find the team to be very helpful and efficient. I think that any agent who instructs an independent inventory clerk, shows that they are acting in a professional and impartial manner on behalf of both the landlord and the tenant.

GoogleWith 3 children at university (and having both attended university ourselves) we have had a lot of experience of student rentals. Winkworth in Exeter have been by far the worst that we have encountered. The house that our daughter rented was old, run-down and quite typical of rental properties in the area. The rent is very high everywhere in Exeter. The house was quite grubby when they moved in and incredibly basic. An example of the state of repair is that during the year, our daughter’s bed fell through the floorboards. When the 4 students left in the summer, the Agent withheld most of their deposit (this has never happened before). We have spent months pursuing this and it has now been to arbitration. The agent charged nearly £600 to clean the property- absolutely outrageous. The independent adjudicator has significantly reduced the amount of deposit that the landlord tried to retain. This clearly shows how the landlord was trying it on. But we are still paying more than we have ever paid for a property that was left in no worse state than when our daughter arrived.
