GoogleWe have recently purchase our first home and had the most amazing help from Emily! We are first time buyers and she made the process super easy and enjoyable. She was there any time we had questions or worries. We would recommend Winkworth to anyone who is looking for an amazing estate agents.

GoogleDo not rent here if you are a student at Exeter. Have had the worst experience with this letting agency, from poor communication, unprofessional emails and rude staff. The flat we moved into had several issues, the worst being fleas when we moved in which we were told was our fault(?). One employee who was in contact with us took a long time to reply and did not solve our issues (as she did not read emails properly). Upon leaving she attempted to scam us through making us pay for items which were unhygienic (toilet brush) that we threw out and a Hoover which was broken, also her poor communication meant we ended up paying for a carpet clean which we were told was not needed. GoogleReally disappointing experience with this letting agent. Went for a viewing, filled out paperwork etc and a couple days later was told that the landlord had accepted us as tenants and took a holding deposit. Once we had started making arrangements about moving in and cancelling other viewings they told us that the landlord had changed their mind with no apparent reason.
Dear Jacob, I am sorry for the experience you had. It must have been frustrating. Unfortunately one of the other applicants that viewed the property at the same time as you offered more money and the landlord went with them. I checked our system and see that the holding deposit you paid was returned immediately and in full. Hopefully you found somewhere else.

GoogleThe gentlemen that showed us around from winkworth was excellent informative and friendly. wink worth on a whole were very friendly and kept us up to date on our purchase. Also we had mail redelivered but the move got delayed so winkworth informed our buy with was one less less thing to worry about. Excellent.

GoogleStudents beware! If you're a student looking to rent a house off Winkworths Exeter then I would urge to proceed with caution. My daughter and her housemates were ripped off by them for 'cleaning' charges when they moved out. They refused to return their deposit unless they agreed to to excessive charges for so called cleaning. They would also send workmen round without notice. For any house you move into, go through the moving in inventory carefully and make your own when you move out. Take photos to back up your findings and evidence and put it in writing to the agent.

GoogleVery good service from Winkworth throughout, with a high quality brochure produced, Tom Bedford doing an excellent job presenting the property and getting good offers on our house within a week (twice over as our chain fell through!), and Christine Walmsley providing great after sale support. Would recommend to anyone considering selling in the Exeter area.

GoogleShockingly unprofessional. My daughter has just rented a property through Winkworths in Exeter and when she collected the keys it was uninhabitable. Winkworths had clearly not done the basic of checks to ensure it was in a fit state to rent out.
