TrustpilotDisgusting flat, substantial costs due to failings and misrepresentation
On our move in day it was discovered that the property was not as advertised. It has been a nightmare since and we have incurred heavy losses as a direct result.Broken boilerBroken cookerBroken dishwasherNo fire alarmsNo valid gas safety checkNo heating or hot waterNo cleaning undertakenBlack mould throughoutBrown speckled mould throughoutSigns off water ingress in numerous areasDamp walls in areasSmell of mould and damp causing coughUnusable showers x2Broken front door lockNo postbox keyNo evidence of parking spot listed on tenancy agreementNo attempt has been made to repay the costs we suffered, nor has anyone apologised for ruining the lives of two disabled tenants. Absolutely appalling.

Have an incredibly positive experience with the Gascoigne Pees agents and I've finally found a property management company that's actually making an effort and favours both landlords and tenants.Upon entering, the flat wasn't in a good condition and needed cleaning and a few repairs; however they've been extremely cooperative and have arranged everything to be done, replying to my emails and sending me updates right away.Couldn't recommend them enough.

They are extremely pushy and have been making repeated phone calls trying to get our business despite repeated requests for them to leave us alone. If they can be this unpleasant and unprofessional when they’re trying to entice you in, what will they be like once you’re hooked in? Don’t do it!

We used Gascoigne Pees to let our property. They insisted newly arriving immigrants whom we had great doubt as tenants but they ensured they would fit.It was totally wrong. They lacked common sense on how to maintain the house whilst Gascoigne Pees did nothing to assist as a property management firm.Numerous lost in translation moments and mismanagement led the tenants to break the agreement 3 months earlier than original and caused financial loss to us.They never acknowledged their wrong doing or provided proper apologies. We will never ever use or recommend Gascoigne Pees.

GoogleI rented a property through GP, with Victoria and she was professional, thorough, and do a great job. We had a few scheduling conflicts, but we made up for them. Definitely search the property and make sure that everything is looked at and through, as mentioned. Would highly recommend for a professional experience.

He always kept us updated on every step of the application process for our property. The description of the property didn't mention no children at all, it even said that those with children it had schools nearby, I think the communication was very poor, and should be stated in the description no children to avoid waste of time.

They would lie and say anything to get you to sign the dotted line(basingstoke office) , they claimed the property was managed by them but once I ran into my 1st issue in a few days they refuse to do anything. Absolutely disgusting, steer clear of them

GoogleBe very wary letting properties from this agency. The Home Inventory service that they impose created false discrepancies between the sign in and sign out reports, costing us a huge portion of our deposit for fictional damage that Gascoigne should reasonably know was caused by previous tenants. Very disappointing
