My wife had occasion to be invited to an ,afternoon Birthday tea party with about 10 guests,all ladies.Excellent ambience and room badly spoilt by a waiter who was very poor in attitude and service which was very very slow.The waiter stood behind the host whilst she was gently complaining about the slow service and made "screwed up nose ,rolling eyes"faces.She asked for him ro be replaced at the table rightly so!!!l suggest he be reprimanded and called out for this feeble performance.the function was on 30th may, mrs m prichard was the host.

We visited Audrey Fairmile in Cobham to get a first impression of a retirement village in general and Audrey Fairmile Cobham in particular. Our visit was well managed by Carolina, who took her time explaining all aspects of such a retirement living arrangement and the site's features. The place is serene and well-equipped to provide for independent living needs after downsizing. We left with a quite favourable impression.

3 weeks ago I went to the Langton's restaurant at Audley Villages Luxury Cooper Hill complex....where I also wrote the previous review that it was a disaster.... I received an email from restauran represent, following the feedback given and she asked me what I liked, what satisfied me so that she could raise the standard from the neighborhood pub to what they claim to be...Yesterday, I went again to see what had changed... nothing, the tables with the glass still unwashed, the expresso coffee... no comment, the mirror where the glasses are kept full of fingers (not current), the mirror at the bar full of water drops not current...a pleasant surprise, like the last time there were bathrooms... you can serve there because it's much cleaner.... I don't know....

It was very thorough and helpful.We loved the central areas but thought the apartments were far too small for us. We are not ready to make a moveinto a place like Audley as yet.

I worked for the Redwood site.The people who own at that site are lovely.I had to leave my job when I felt I was having to lie to the owners. The staff were told to say 1 thing, whilst the truth was something else. Senior management were incredibly unfriendly and at times their behaviour bordered on bullying. I cried at one point after an incredibly aggressive interaction with my senior manager because he was so belittling.

We were briefed for about one hour by Paul Sines who was very helpful and then taken on a tour of the impressive building before have a delightful lunch in the delightful dining room.Paul took us through the costs and helped us to review other Audley options. We were very well looked after, which made the visit a real pleasure.

Jo is a very friendly and professional Audley representative. She provided an excellent introduction to Binswood, including a detailed précis of the terms and conditions of property ownership. Afterwards, Jo gave us access to two apartments on offer and a tour of the Village. The atmosphere created by staff and residents was very friendly and welcoming. The Binswood brochure was an accurate reflection of the actual standards in the Village.
