Very welcoming staff and a lovely building. Just demoted one star because the decor in the communal areas seems a little old-fashioned. It used to be more modern and stylish. Design by committee is rarely successful.

We had a lovely experience with Gemma Wallace, she explained the concept of the village life and gave us a good idea of the type of houses and facilities available.It certainly given us something to think about, and we will be returning and coming back with a few questions. Fabulous luxury retirement village. Anyone would be very lucky to live there if they could afford it. Perfect for my parents for right now. Had a great tour with Lyn. Nothing was too much trouble and she explained everything clearly. It was a very relaxed and quiet village.

Sam gave us a great tour of the accommodation and facilities, very professional and well informed. We had lunch afterwards in the restaurant, which was ok but my dark chocolate orange mousse was awful (undissolved grains of sugar throughout and way too sweet). But on the whole thoroughly impressed with the set up.

Jo Meakin gave me 2.5 hours of her time and explained the village concept - showed my four apartments - answered all my questions - she was brilliant and I felt that I was not wasting any of her time and I was very impressed with the whole village concept and the literature I was given to read is very comprehensive and I am definitely interested in going forward.
We're extremely pleased to hear that Jo answered all your questions in such thorough detail. We do hope to see you again soon at Audley Binswood.

A good informative visit. Met at the village by Grant who showed us around and explained the options, Useful information recieved to consider the options going forward, including plans afoot if a new development in Brent Cross. Definitely something to give serious thoughts in future.

We visited Audley site and was very impressed with all the facilities on site and the staff we met.however, the cost of living was seen to be very high. Not only did you pay monthly management charges you also had a deferred management charge payable up to 15 years. When I did the maths I really could not comprehend the total charges required.On top of these charges you had council taxes which seemed to double up charges for refuse and road maintenance. You also paid an annual car park fee and on selling your property the estate charged for home viewing. It was also a rather high percent if Audley acted as your estate agent. As I said earlier. The site is lovely but do look at actual charges with a calculator before making any decisions.

We aim to be completely transparent with you about our costs at all times, to allow you to make a decision you are comfortable with. We were shown around by Vicki Norman who was very professional and made our experience most enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and we weren't rushed at all during our visit. The Village is delightful and there was obviously plenty going on for residents to take part in.

A very warm welcome and a very helpful explanation of the whole process of acquiring a property and of all the activities available. I was impressed by the garden, the bistro, the library, swimming pool etc. it had a very nice atmosphere.
