I looked at the literature on Audley's Sunningdale Park retirement homes but the homes are very expensive compared to the Lynwood Retirement Village with same facilities and just 500 metres away.
Thank you for your review, we would not be able to speak to what Lynnwood Retirement Village has to offer but we are sure it's a wonderful option. It's fantastic for those looking at retirement communities to have options which enables people to find the best suited option for them. Sunningdale Park spans 79 acres of gardens, lakes and extensive natural woodland with Northcote House at its centre which offers fantastic amenities, we emplore you to visit to see for yourself, you certainly won't be disappointed.

I really liked the concept of your villages and was impressed with everything you offered in romsey. I have no connections in that area but I have a son in Bristol so will be asking to view Redwood when I am next in that area. Should a suitable property become available I would seriously consider making the move.

Booked a visit on line. When we turned up we were not expected, so arranged another time. When we arrived again, we were kept waiting quite a while.Found the site cramped, with little outside space. The apartments that we were shown were quite spacious and well thought out.

Firstly, Jo was delightful, her introduction thorough and her replies to our questions thoughtful and thorough.Everyone we met while we walked round your facilities gave us a warm greeting.Interior decoration was elegant and warm, and the number of activies, impressive. The design of the apartment was attractive, my only thought was that storage space might be a problem.

Tony the representative we met was very friendly and professional. We liked that he asked us what we wanted to know and then gave us information with no sales pressure. No sales pressure was necessary as the village, surroundings, facilities were all outstanding. We were very impressed by our visit.

The village Stanbridge Earls, is very nicely laid out, and the salesperson Joe Donovan, very helpful. Excellent facilities overall.However we found that the overall extra costs are actually more expensive than where we are in our own extra large bungalow ( with paid help for gardening & utilities costs etc) . So downsizing at moment is put on hold.

The visit was warm and welcoming and gave a detailed and thorough insight into the way in which Audley operates its gated communities. The Nightingale Way site seems impressively run, is an attractively built development and sensitively organized to cater for the complete needs of its residents. I came away with a very favorable impression.

I really didn't know what to expect, but I can only say wow! Had a lovely tour of the village by a very helpful and knowledgeable lady. You have thought about and covered just about every aspect of this sort of living. May not be quite ready for it but certainly would consider if circumstances change. Thank you.

Audley’s Sunningdale village is a 5* home for those who want and/or need beautiful surroundings whilst having the assurance of extra help when needed. Each apartment is totally private, superbly fitted out, but has access to dining, bar, pool, hairdresser, activities and assistance when required.

No pressure sales!We really enjoyed the tour your round the village and hearing about the various activities provided. It was interesting to see the apartments and the different layouts. The facilities are very good and lunch at the restaurant was excellent.

I think that Audley believe their own hype. The Bistro, which is in a prime central London location, is dead because the menu is poor and the quality of what little is on offer varies. The managaress does her best.The Carers do a good job but they are over stretched. There are more chiefs than Indians with unnecessarily bureaucracy

Audley Sunningdale is just stunning! Such a lovely setting and Northcote House is magnificent.Paul who showed us around was very patient and explained everything well. The flats were all finished to a very high standard.

I was given a good introduction to what these villages offer and how they work. I was shown around the communal areas and one of the residences. I also had an open discussion about costs, and there with no pressure to buy. Clearly it depends on individual circumstances.
