The village is well thought of and yhe facilities quite impressive. Kirsty showed us around and she was very knowledgeable. The only thinh which makes me think hard are the charges which are quite high. Also there is no public transport nearby which could be a problem for someone who doesn't drive.

I had a very warm welcome. Ralph and his colleague were friendly and very informative about Audley Villages. They devoted a good amount of time to show me around and answer my questions. Their enthusiasm for Audley and what it can offer retired people came through clearly and created a positive atmosphere. At the same time, I did not feel unduly pressured in any way. I appreciated there was understanding that such important decisions necessarily take time to make.

The whole experience of looking at an apartment in the Mayfield retirement was a big surprise. The quality of the actual apartment, the communal areas, bistro, swimming pool and gym were surprisingly impressive. Not having looked at this option for later life accommodation previously, we were installed hooked.

Plenty of time given to see & ask questions which were honestly answered. A very nice village & flats. We found 2 bed flats too small but in good order & very pleasant. Not much room for extra storage.
