Standard letting agents. Flat was a state when we moved in, left in a far better condition but they still demanded a large "cleaning fee". Threatened legal action through safe deposit Scotland when this was challenged.

Had way too many issues during a 1 year stay in a rental property with Zone lettings, ( can't even recall how many engineer visits we had but still nothing got really fixed )

Useless. Organised two viewings of the same flat and nobody showed up both times, in the middle of the day, after us taking time out of our jobs to go and see it. Both times nobody could be bothered to show up, or to tell us that they weren't showing up. Not having access to the flat is not a valid excuse when you're the agency that is supposed to have the keys. A minor player on the Edinburgh property market I'm sure, if this is an indicator of how they would respond to any issues in a rented flat.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Polished Scot Cleaning regularly carry out end of let cleaning and additional services for Zone Letting in Edinburgh. We really enjoy working with Ross and the rest of the friendly, professional team. We would recommend them with no hesitation if you are looking for a small friendly agent to rent a property from or market your property with!

I moved into a property in Cumberland Street with this agency and there were several issues with the standard of the property but the biggest one was that the heating didn't work. I called several times to try and get it resolved and the agency was unresponsive until I eventually spoke to the Manager who told me if I didn't stop complaining they would evict me. I am in my 70s with my husband who has Alzheimer's so this was extremely destressing. Thankfully my son told me they could not evict me for this as I had a lease and he dealt with the issue. However, the rest of the tenancy was much the same and several of the issues that were in the property were left unresolved. I am afraid I cannot recommend them at all.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Zone letting are a fantastic agency. After renting off them for a year they really took care of me and my flatmate during the pandemic, and were only a phone call away with any issue. I would highly recommend them to anyone flat-hunting in Edinburgh.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Great no fuss service, changed property management company , fees very competitive and much more interactive service. My last PMC took the fees and had no contact with me or the tenants. Zone has already checked in with us both and is actively managing the property. Highly recommended!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Agents are rude, and don't inform of your application progress. Leaving you not knowing if you need to continue searching for accommodation. Not helpful, and would avoid this agency, especially an agent named Ross, he was a horrible person to interact with, and the main reason why I'm leaving this review.

Great letting agency, I have let my flat through them for 5 years and they have been fab. Excellent communication, issues dealt with quickly and no gaps letting out my property. I've just sold my flat and the team helped me through the eviction and preparation for sale. Couldn't ask for more.

Terrible experience

At the end of my 6-year tenancy, Zone letting charged me £300 for a full-flat clean despite the apartment being left in much better condition than what they gave me the keys to.

We are happy to recommend Zone Letting. They always responded to our calls and tried to solve any issues quickly and professionally - the last one being a smoke detector which was fixed within 24 hours since we reported the fault.

I’m very pleased and will continue to let with them for the foreseeable future

I find Ross to be extremely communicative and helpful; he has done inspections when any concerns have been raised. He deals with repairs promptly and I have found the process of letting with them very easy.

I was a tenant of Zone lettings for 5 years in 2 different properties before buying my own place and can honestly say they are the best lettings agent I've used in all my 14 years of renting. They were always friendly, professional, quick to sort out problems when they arose and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property (or let one out)!
