GoogleWe've been with Northwood through our tenancy for over 2 years and we were delighted by their service. Communication was always quick and friendly, repairs and other issues got resolved fast and the whole Northwood team was ready to help whenever we needed something. Special thanks to Claire for always being responsive and very competent.

The move out process was a bit frustrating; however, the team took the time to phone me personally to listen to my feedback. It speaks volumes of their customer service.

GoogleNorthwoods have managed our flat in Edinburgh for over 10 years & we have found them to be brilliant. They have done everything-from supervising & organizing a refurbishment (include all soft furnishings) to the minute every day problems that arise in any home. GoogleIf I could give this company 0 stars I would. Genuinely don’t understand how this place is in business. Had a viewing booked for today which was CONFIRMED through email, turned up for the scheduled time and rang the buzzer, no answer…waited 30 minutes for someone to show up and rang the buzzer multiple times, eventually left because I had other appointments. No call or email just complete radio silence. I called the office only to be meet with automated responses and directed to online resources, eventually called the selling line only for the line to ring for several minutes then an automated message saying sorry no one was able to answer the phone. Talked to another man waiting to view the flat and said the same thing happened to him at an earlier viewing. SUPER unprofessional, will never be using this company EVER again, will be informing everyone I know to avoid as well.

GoogleA fantastic Agency and service. I have been a client for 12 and a half years. They are helpful, responsive, quick to resolve issues and sensitive to the needs of the client and the property. They are not intrusive and give adequate timescale in advance of maintenance, works to be carried out. They are always helpful and liase and listen to needs or suggestions. GoogleNorthwood have been fantastic throughout the process of finding, viewing and completing our move into our flat. Kerr was a fantastic contact at Northwood, always very quick to reply to emails and patient with us when we had issues. Every part of the process was straightforward, and the flat was really well cleaned when we moved in which makes a nice change to flats we've had from other agents!

GoogleAbsolutely horrible agency. I got conflicting information multiple times one what forms needed filling out and overall their application process was poorly explained. When I turned up for my viewing (which had a set time) many other people for different times were queuing outside. There was no organization in selecting who would view the property next so I don't know why they even had us book times. So everyone just had to wait around untill we got our shot and just put all our plans for the day on hold while waited for them.

GoogleWe live outside the UK and Northwood Edinburgh, initially through Lewis Mallen who advised us on the best options and set up our contract and subsequently with Stuart Miller, is managing our flat in Edinburgh. Working with Lewis and the rest of the company has been a pleasure. All the paperwork and arrangements were done remotely as travel was not possible at the time we started working with them. They made everything easy, on time and with no hidden conditions or anything like that and they always do what they say. They promised peace of mind in managing the property and they have delivered.

GoogleNorthwood Edinburgh took over the management of my rental flat after my last agency badly let me down. The property was in a bad state of repair and Lewis Mallen project managed the refurbishment before sourcing new tenants and receiving any management fee. It is now several months later and moving to Northwood is one of the best decisions I have made. I am not resident in the UK and have total peace of mind that my property is in good hands. As a landlord, Northwood make the renting process really simple, managing the tenancy selection and ongoing management, arranging any necessary maintenance work on our behalf, ensuring we continually meet the relevant safety checks, etc and generally shielding us from what could be challenging and time consuming tasks. As a selling agent, they were very effective in securing a buyer recently for our Edinburgh property, doing so pleasantly and professionally...thank you Maria! We have a good ongoing relationship with them...and there's no reason for us to look elsewhere for our property management. I can recommend them for both renting and selling in the Edinburgh area.
