Me and my friend just locked in on a property which was listed by DJ Alexander. The whole experience has been very swift and methodical. Beginning with the property manager who showed us the property- John Sturgeon. He helped us view the property and answered all our doubts. He readily picked our calls and was sweet throughout the process. He was professional about everything and provided us with sound advice whenever we reached out. Now, next onto our agent who helped us with the entire documentation process- Chloe Mitchell. She was very cooperative. She also was readily available to answer our doubts and communicative about the process. She really ensured that each step of the checks happens in a proper way. She was also very helpful throughout. Also shout-out to Gemma, who showed us the property on the day we were handed over the keys, she was super sweet and showed us all the ways and made us feel confident that we can finally move in now happily. The platforms at DJ Alexander that are in place are really helpful and not at all cumbersome, they help in carrying the whole documentation phase quickly. I would suggest people to refer to these guys for finding the best property.

I have changed letting agency I believe 3 times over 5y. And DJ has been by far the best. Tools are in place to reach out in case of requests, issues are treated timely, and I always got a feedback.I have been particularly satisfied with Amy Vass who has helped ++ with my end of tenancy (which not an easy one...).I am actually quite sad to leave the property; both DJ services and the owner were serious in their follow up ; and the flat was stunning. Thanks for everything DJ has covered for me in the last years.

Terrible. Was applying for a flat in Edinburgh. A John Sturgeon sent me an application form which I returned (ID, bank statements etc) never to be heard from again. Sent a follow up email - still nothing. That was over a month ago. Complete and utter waste of time.

Zosia took us around a flat in Marchmont, Edinburgh a few days ago. She was extremely helpful, and explained what the rental process - from application to tenancy - looks like. As new student renters, this was invaluable, and helped us get our bearings and feel confident in the process. DJ Alexander has a number of flats on offer and I've had good experiences with people I've spoken to on the team. Their online system for booking viewings does not always work but this is because viewing space for flats here run out so quickly, and that is made up for by how friendly and helpful the team is.

TrustpilotThey are letting the mafia
They are letting mafia. They will call everybody at the same time for viewing and it would be an auction. Everybody will try to befriend them and bid for paying more rent and hence more favor to them. On the face they will tell us that we forward all applications to the landlord and the landlord will select the tenant. But there is no transparency that they will send the application to the owner. I have viewed six properties with them, I have a full-time job and I didn't get any property as I haven't pitched for paying more rent.

I recently moved house with DJ Alexander, taking up the rent of a new property. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. I was guided throughout the whole process and supported every step of the way. Laura Mctaggart, our application advisor, was always there by phone or email whenever I needed help or to ask a question. She does the utmost to help tenants, and is supportive throughout the entire experience, from beginning to end. I cannot recommend DJ Alexander, or Laura, enough!!
