MY FIRST TRADE EXPERIENCE. I’m not going to lie when I first decide to go with them I was super nervous. not knowing and totally trusting someone you never meet with your money was scary but that was the best decision I’ve made and I risk it!! Take the risk and you'll thank me later. They listed a one bed flat with an extra tiny windowless boxroom and bunkbed as a two bed property. By legal definition and common decency this fails to meet tolerable standards for housing. Scottish law is very clear about bedrooms needing at least one window and advertising a box room as a bedroom is in flagrant disregard of the law. This was a waste of my time and was very disappointing to see a letting agent misrepresenting a property like this. Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 - essential reading.

As a first time buyer, I was absolutely clueless about this buying business. For 6 months I had been looking around to buy a house but call it a stroke of luck, my affairs were put in the good hands of China Jane whose professionalism, patience and meticulousness really made it a walk in the park for me. Always prompt, always thorough and to the point, and always at your disposal for for each and every query, I did not even for once have to think of going elsewhere for mortgage advice. No matter how many times I asked her to walk me through all the technical stuff, she was there to answer me. And to top it all, her patience and calmness in sticking with me through all the rejections, really makes her an asset to have for any buyer. Highly recommended.

5 Star Highly Recommended

I went to Cox & Co to view a property I saw advertised on rightmove, I viewed four properties that day and two of them suited be the most, one with Cox & Co and another with a different company. I decided to take the property with Cox & Co because of the staff, they were so helpful. I moved in six weeks ago and there were a couple of issues and they were fixed/repaired within two days. I wish other Letting companies were like Cox & Co I am very pleased with the flat and service so far. 5 STAR

Unprofessional and rude We wanted to rent a flat that is managed by this company and landlord accepted our offer. Unfortunately for us and the landlord this agency was unwilling or unable to communicate in professional manner. They refused to answer simplest question (e.g. furnishing of the flat) and expected us to sign the lease without explaining any of its terms. Furthermore they were extremely rude and obnoxious. A month has passed and this attractive flat is still hanging on Gumtree. Doesn't it speak for itself?

From a renter point of view - very abrupt nd unprofessional service. The viewing lasted couple minutes with every question I asked being cut short. The same happened when I called the office to clarify few things. The agent was very rude and unhelpful and treated me as if he was making me a favour that he even considers me for the flat in question. When I asked for such basic things like getting copy of the contract to read it at home, I was told I'm difficult and waisting their time. Because of their lack of professionalism I decided not to rent with them.

Delighted, I was introduced to Cox & Co when they arranged my buy to let mortgage for me, they arrange it in just a few days, things could not have gone smoother, they kept me up to date with the process through to completion, they then advertised my property and got a very nice couple to take the property. They have been in the property some six months now and I have not had a problem, I receive my rent payment within a few days. What more could I ask for.Cox & Co is the place to go.

My experience of Cox and Co, and more specifically China-Jane who handled my case, was that they are a detailed, skilled and slick mortgage service. I was kept in the loop at all times and China handled all of the most awkward requests from the mortgage providers with good humour and patience. Cox and Co are a little more expensive than other providers, but this is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for.'
