I rented from fox and son for 5 years and Senior letting branch manager was quick to responses and supporting when needed. Even after tendency ended there was good communication throughout. Senior Letting branch manager would explain and go into detail if needed more understanding. Team was always polite and welcoming when contacted. Never had any issues (Eastbourne fox and sons)

I asked to view a property last week and a viewing was booked. At the same time, I was asked to speak to their Morrgage Advisor which I agreed to despite having my mortgage all sorted. Today, I rang to cancel my mortgage appointment as I am busy. Then, I was asked to arrange different times for the mortgage appointment - bearing in mind I already have this all in place. When I said, let me view first and if I wish to proceed, I will speak to their Mortgage Advisor, I was told the property had an offer on it already. So why did you not tell me this at the start of the conversation? Am I only eligible to view if I also take a mortgage through your Mortgage Advisor? You seem keener on selling mortgage products than selling houses - what a pity! It will be one agent I will be avoiding in the future.

Best experience I’ve ever had!!!

Was the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agents, Chris there mortgage advisor was incredible he went above and beyond what we could have ever expected and even after we’d payed for his services he was still pulling late days just to help us get everything we needed ready wether it was mortgage related or not he even worked as hard as possible to get us out mortgage rate fixed before they sky rocketed we could not be more grateful even after we had closed and everything was sorted he still helped us with our life insurance as there was a mistake we made while filling it out, Joanne was also a massive help even though we didn’t buy our house through then in the end she would always get right in touch with us as soon as she found a house she thought we’d like and even pulled an extra day or 2 so we could view the houses due to our busy schedules when the time comes to sell we will definitely be going to her

Are you sitting comfortably?… then I’ll begin…‘Twas twenty weeks before Christmas, plenty of time to move house, not a creature was stirring, especially not a Fox and sons Estate Agent !!!If you have been sitting down over the festive season with a glass of mulled wine, contemplating moving house, then take our advice…DO NOT USE FOX & SONS!!The whole branch lacked any form of professionalism, or competency. Lucas never returned our calls, only answering the phone if we dialled on a number he didn’t have registered to us. On one occasion, I stood outside the shop and although I could clearly see him, the girl that answered said he was out.For some reason the shop is always locked and the Keys were not always immediately to hand. We regularly had to visit the branch and insist they chase issues for us. Chasing only happens on a Wednesday apparently…really??? They are quite content to place all the blame on their equally incompetent’ in house’ solicitors DCLaw. After 19 weeks of abysmal service, we took matters into our own hands and dealt with the home owner himself to get the sale over the line. Due to several failures to exchange we had to exchange and complete on the same day. There was no one in the branch that day to deal with any issues and DClaw were uncontactable. Other estate agents from the rest of the chain got involved to try and save the day but in the end all 5 lorries were told to unpack. Yet still no communication from Fox & Sons… disgraceful!

I was assisted by Toriah Wilson, could not of moved out without all of her help! Had been trying to move for over a year and with Toriah’s help was done within a month! Easy process and she explains everything so clearly! As a first time renter it’s all a bit confusing but she reassured me and answered any questions I had , even after moving she still replies and answers if I need anything. Was made to feel very comfortable and as I have been scammed before I was a bit cautious. Could not recommend fox and sons enough! Please avoid this unprofessional office in Hastings. Thought it was weird that my requests was not followed through. Been waiting to speak to a manager for a week. Nothing, called back. It was obvious the fella did not pass on my message. Not responded to emails. When challenged, he was happy to tell me he didnt like me. Think it was the colour of my skin.Update Foxs and sons are questioning my review. Trustpilot want evidence. My complaint was done over the phone. The company did not address my complaint in writing. As i advised trustpilot. Whoever is challenging this has not contacted the branch manager who i spoke to at length and arranged for someone to value my property last week. Perhaps they should do their own checks before they challenge my experience. After this insult. I wont be putting any business their way. Pure cowboys. Minus any stars

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Fox and Sons Peacehaven branch and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.This is the first time that I have had to sell and buy a home in 20 years. I'm a single mum to 3 children under 10 so time and working to my schedule was so important to me.At the start of the process I felt completely out of my depth and had no idea where to start but they made me feel at ease straight away.The whole team at the branch have just been incredible. The process has been fast, efficient, smooth and professional. I have been kept updated at all times and everyone has been so approachable and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble, even when I took my 3 children on a viewing.The service was so good that I even used their mortgage advisor, Jonathan, and the service provided has been incredible.I would particularly like to thank Tom and Alice for their patience and understanding especially with the amount of questions that I had. They always got back to me quickly with the answers and explained things in terms that I understood.Thank all for the work you have done for me. Excellent - superlative even - service and help from Grace at Kemptown/Brighton Fox&Sons. Grace was super efficient, dealt with a myriad of inquiries and was always on hand and on top of everything re. an offer on a property in Kemptown.Having dealt with a lot - I mean a lot - of estate agents in Brighton - which is enjoying a property boom - I can hand on heart say that even though most are lovely - it really stands out when you have got someone who a) isn't trying to flog you something you don't want and b) who is doing their job so well - they actually look out for what you are not thinking about or seeing in the process of looking at a property to buy. It is HUGELY helpful when an estate agent is that thorough and cares about their job so much - and of course this is so conducive to you wanting to do business with them.I totally get that estate agents get cynical and jaded as they do their job year after year - it must be exhausting - but when you have someone so on the ball and preempting what you are missing, and not thinking about, it makes all the difference.Thank you Fox&Sons - and Grace in particular.
