Never got back to me in 2 weeks. Called their office 3 times a day for a week, called their poole branch and was told I’d be called back. I also emailed, never got back to me suddenly seen the property I liked gone off market. 0 communication

GoogleThey are very professional . I met David who was very nice and prompt in responding to my queries and they helped me find a home that suited my taste . I would recommend fox and sons over and over again. Plus , I had a little curated box which said welcome to your new home - very wholesome and thoughtful of them .

Little to no communication, gave more than 3 months notice to be told they would be in touch and heard nothing more. My son vacated the property and a month later has not received my deposit or heard anything. They are not answering the phones or responding to emails. Awful customer service. Find a different estate agents

The Crawley team, particularly Branch Manager Kane Caulfield, displayed unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior.They wasted our time by not responding promptly to our inquiries, forcing us to follow up continuously for weeks, both regarding our initial offer and when the property came back on the market.When we decided not to proceed with the offer, Kane Caulfield began speaking to us in a rude and unprofessional manner.We kindly request that take appropriate action regarding the Branch Manager's behavior.

Impossible to get a hold of them by phone or email. Couldn't get them to contact the potential landlord to sign the tenancy agreement until 7 days after the agreed move in date at which point tried to increase the rent from £1000pcm to £1300pcm. I didn't accept it and tried contacting them for over 2 months to return my deposit and they only started replying to my emails after I threatened legal action if they didn't return my deposit. Still waited until the day before I said I would take action before returning my money. I wouldn't ever look at a house managed by this company ever again and I should have called everything off once I saw how difficult it was to get replies even before signing anything

Slammed the phone down on my father when he was enquiring about a Peacehaven bungalow and was asked if his property was on the market. When he said "Not yet" the agent simply hung up. Serious buyer turned away by this agency. Would reconsider if you are thinking of listing your property with them.

GoogleAvoid This Letting Agent, Dishonest and Unprofessional I had an incredibly disappointing experience renting a property through this agency, specifically dealing with David Johnson. I was told I couldn’t move in for a few weeks because they needed to carry out work on the property. When I finally got the keys, the place was disgusting and clearly not ready for anyone to live in. The bedroom had mould, the toilet and bathroom tiles were covered in black mould (some tiles are even falling off the wall), and the kitchen appliances, including the oven and fridge freezer, hadn’t been cleaned at all. To make matters worse, the property was still full of the previous tenant’s furniture. When I raised this, I was told to leave it in the garden, and it would be collected ASAP. Two months later, it’s still sitting there. They sent cleaners around once for an hour on a Sunday, but even they were horrified at the condition of the property and said they would need to return. They never did. The property was in such a poor state that I couldn’t even stay there the first week and had to stay with friends. Moral of the story, if you end up dealing with David Johnson, don’t believe a word he says. I wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
Hello Rhys, thank you for your review and sorry to hear you feel this way about your experience with the Lettings team, after looking into this case we can see that you moved in on the 4th November after moving in you decided to remove the wardrobe after speaking with the local office you then found there to be mould behind this wardrobe and the flat was not cleaned to a professional standard. After speaking to the local office they arranged a professional cleaning company to attend on the 10th November 2024 and they completed a full clean including oven, bathroom, mould wiped from the mastic redone in the bathroom. The cleaners were told by yourself that you were happy with how this was left. Since then the Lettings manager has emailed you twice and tried to call to rectify issues you have raised but you have not responded. Please can you call the local office so they can rectify the issues you are addressing.

Just completed on my house sale in Eastbourne. I found Tom and his colleagues very easy to deal with. I accepted an offer for full market price within 10 days. Tom kept me up to date weekly with the process, keeping in contact with my conveyancer also. I went to Fox & Sons to sell because 15 yrs earlier I bought through them. Good to know their standards are still as high as they were then!
