We’ve had the best experience at East Village for the last 18 months. We moved back to the UK and found the entire process smooth and simple. The quality of apartments, furnishings and service has been faultless and the location was perfect to make the most of Hackney + London with the great transport links. We had very few challenges while living here, and any maintenance needs were fixed within 24 hours, by kind staff. We have only left because we have moved countries but would 100% recommend Get Living and East Village!

One of the best companies to take an apartment with. Convenient, hassle-free and great quality service. No matter what issue you have, you get a resolution within 2 days. We had our dishwasher throw an error and Ryan Walker, the service agent, got the dishwasher replaced at once. He was very cordial and friendly. Came at the mentioned time, was quick with the job and gave an elaborate instructions on how to use and maintain a dishwasher well. Great service!

The Get Living Team were informative and really helpful throughout the process of moving into East Village. A big thank you to Claire for showing us around 3 different flats, all of which met our requirements, and for sending us through photos afterwards. Zainab was fantastic in helping us with the contracts and signing. We did find the Canopy approval process hard work. If you have multiple jobs or self-employed status, it was a long series of back and forth messages with the support team until we could upload the documents asked for, but which they didn't have enough space to upload. Overall though, very happy with the Get Living team's help and the flats are brilliant.

We moved in about a month ago and really love it! The process to rent a flat was very painless and easy. The furniture provided in the flat is good quality and stylish and the neighbourhood is really cute. It really has a community feeling and the wetlands near us are nice to go for walks around every night. The lettings coordinator Zainab was really lovely and helped us in a timely manner with any of our queries. We had one repair that needed doing and they sent someone out to fix it within two days which was surprisingly fast. I would definitely recommend living here!

Disgraceful customer service, overpriced horrific

Disgraceful customer service, can’t even do basic jobs like arrange direct debits, but somehow the tenant is always to blame. Messed us around at every interaction from pre-move in to post-move out. Overpriced for a basic apartment and no amenities, and it costs an extra fortune on top to secure a patch of concrete to park a car, as well as the buildings are unsafe as the doors are always broken, terrible parcel room and bin room systems. They seemingly paid for the cheapest contractors possible who left the fire door a mess when coming to fix it, then tried to take money out of our deposit for the damage they left. No attention to detail the entire tenancy until they spotted every hair and speck of dust upon moving out and tried to charge for it, despite it being in a better state than at moving in. Terrible company, DO NOT RENT HERE.
