Excellent service from the Cranleigh branch

We put our house on the market with the Cranleigh branch and within two weeks of an open house we had accepted an offer. Kerry-Ann and her team were there to support us throughout the whole process. We used their recommended conveyancing who were efficient and easy to use. We would not hesitate to use Cubitt and West again, their local knowledge and understanding of the local market is exemplary.

Great support

Our house sale was always going to be problematic; elderly father moving in with his daughter and son in law over 150 miles away and us needing to sell his old home. Trying to facilitate all this from a long distance was stressful and challenging. However Cubitt and West supported us so well throughout the process and Julie Bramble went above and beyond in order to support us, chase solicitors and paperwork, while constantly updating us due to the sale being 'long distance'. We couldn't have done it without her, thank you.

Vanessa Brittle is excellent!

Vanessa Brittle has been extremely helpful with very good advice concerning the pricing of my house. Vanessa showed me a house which Cubitt and West (Chichester) had on their books to sell and which I loved, but I hadn't sold my own house yet. Vanessa took the time during the viewing to explain how I needed to price my house in order to sell it in a difficult market. I took her advice and sold my house quickly when before it had not shifted at all and I have now just exchanged on the house Vanessa showed me. I don't know what anyone else at the Chichester office is like, but with Vanessa, you are in safe hands. If you read the one star reviews, have a look at the date when they were written. C&W in Chichester WAS awful, but they are now quite changed a really good.

Managing stress in a sale

Selling a house at the moment is very stressful. Purchasers are cautious, chains are precarious and the whole process is very slow. My experience was no different - but it was made more acceptable by the staff and Cubitt and West. The staff at Waterlooville (particularly Maddison, Robin and Nicola) who dealt with the marketing and managing potential purchasers were attentive, helpful and encouraging. When we finally found a purchaser Julie Bramble, the senior progression executive was excellent. She chased other agents and solicitors in the chain, kept me informed and gave sound advice. The chain collapsed twice - but all at C&W remained encouraging and helpful. Well done and thanks to you all.

Cubitt & West Haywards Heath office pushed for me to use their in house Mortgage Broker, however, failed to advise that you will have to pay approx £600 for the privilege until you're too far into the process and have no time to look elsewhere. Customer transparency is very poor. I'd avoid.

Katarina at Cubitt and West Reigate was amazing. My property was not an easy sell at all but Katarina was positive and enthusiastic from the get-go, kept me informed through every step of the way, was by my side when the sale fell through twice (absolutely nothing to do with Cubitt and West), supportive when I was stressed and emotional. She is very hard working, dedicated to her client with sound advice which is down to her valuable knowledge and experience. Towards the end, when it looked like it might all go horribly wrong, Katarina and the team pulled out the stops and ended up doing much of the work that the lazy estate agent up the chain should have been doing - above and beyond.
