Finally an Estate Agent Who is Human!

We found ourselves having to move out of our rented house due to the owner wanting to sell up. After countless viewings with other estate agents and being rudely ignored we found a house in Copnor that would suit our family, the open house had already been done 2 days prior but we phoned to ask if we could still have a viewing and spoke to Abbie in the Portsmouth Branch, who was amazing! she listened to our plight without judgement, phoned the owner and within 2 hours we got to see the house with the owner present and got the ok a day later and started the formal process. Abbie was GREAT she explained all the stages and the time frames and really helped push for a positive outcome for us, she didn't treat us like a number or a faceless chore, she made us feel that finding us a home was important to her and that we mattered.

It has been a long and painful road to buy a property, but flat number 4 was meant to be obviously (other properties with different agents)! New Tenancy in Shared House

I have just moved into a shared house in Portsmouth and wanted to note how grateful I was for Abbie at Cubitt and West. She went above and beyond throughout the whole process to ensure I was supported (I wasn’t originally sold on the idea of a shared property) but she was a great aid in going through all my options and budget. She even came round when I couldn’t work the lock on the first day (!!) and has always been a very calm, kind and happy figure. I can’t speak highly enough of Abbie and these estate agents - I would recommend them to anyone. They fully put you and your needs first unlike other estate agents who say they are but really they’re doing it solely for their benefit! Thank you Abbie :)

Selling my house quickly with Cubit and West

I decided to go with Cubit and West, due to the sales pitch by Claire Mansell which was very impressive. Once I had prepared the house for sale, photographs and a video tour were taken and sent to their Data base of potential buyers, the house was immediately viewed and an offer excepted before the house went live on their web-site, Zoopla or Rightmove.I was kept up to date on the progress of the sale at every step of the way, mainly by Cailean Burns, he normally answered the phone and was always happy to answer my questions and queries.They are also dealing with the sale of my girlfriends house sale and once again Cailean has been the main point of contact and has been happy to chase any questions and issues on that sale too.I was very happy with the whole process.

Abbey and Marcus - Portsmouth Branch

Abbie and Marcus have been absolutely marvellous throughout. We initially enquired about a property and unfortunately, we didn't get it, however, Abbie understood our current situation with not having long left on our current tenancy and needed something to suit us both. Abbie rang and had offered me a cancellation slot at a property after Marcus had mentioned myself and my friend, and this property if anything was much more suited to our needs. Not even 24 hours later Abbie then rang to say we had been successful!Abbie guided us the whole way through the process, she is nothing short of absolutely fantastic, a wonderful cheery nature who obviously knows what she is doing, and now thanks to her we have an agreement and we have a new property. Myself and my partner have just moved in together for the first time. A bigger challenge than we first imagined. After countless viewings we finally stumbled upon a lovely house very local to us. The viewing appointment was very easy and straight forward. Ciaran Street from the Crawley branch helped set this up for us and it was a pleasure viewing the property and talking to Ciaran about it helping answer any questions we had. Julian visited our property and provided us with a valuation and a clear plan on how he would go about selling our house. An excellent service all round

I don’t always get round to leaving reviews, but in this case it has to be done. Cubitt and West, Patcham/Woodingdean, have just been so lovely and committed from start to finish, throughout a complicated and protracted purchase, a chain of 9 sets of agents, solicitors and unpredictable humans! In the best possible way it felt like an old-style personal approach you don’t often get from estate agents these days, which we deeply appreciated. I don’t want to miss anyone out because without each of their help we would not now be about to move into our dream home, which seemed an impossibility when we first viewed it. Thank you Alice, Louise, Charlotte, Garry and Steve, for your patience, approachability and dedication in making this happen for us. Hopefully, we will not be moving again any time soon, if ever, but we would most definitely recommend you to anyone who is.
