Can't thank John Charlotte and Emma enough for their help during my buying process. Although they wasn't my estate agent they was my sellers they treated me with so much kindness and patience. Always able to speak to them nothing was to much to ask even when my buyer looked like they was going to pull out last minute they was trying there hardest to get this resolved. And even on day of exchange they went above and beyond. We’ve just exchanged contracts on our first home and even though it was a long and at times frustrating process because of many different factors, our sales progressor Julie was great and was all over the case when she needed her to be. She followed up on every request and made sure everyone is satisfied.

The manager of the Purley branch - Tom is not honest and transparent. Sellers beware, this review is to warn you and help you to make an informed decision before signing anything with Cubitt and West at Purley.1) He used manipulative methods to get me to agree and sign the contract regarding the sale of one of our properties. He told me verbally that C&W charge 1.25% and on the contract the fee he wrote, he said would be adjusted if the property sold for less. However once a buyer was found who offered 25K less than asking price, he later denied that the fee would be lowered to equate 1.25%, so he still went on to charge an extra £1200 from us! Furthermore, he did not show us C&W fixed fee structure document at all that they apparently have, which again is manipulative and deceptive, as its not disclosing all information, which you are meant to do, when 2 parties are making an agreement.2) When I asked him to show me properties that I could purchase and put an offer on after the sale of our property had come under offer, he was very unhelpful. He only showed me 2 properties. One of those properties I offered cash, just 10K below the asking price. Tom did not bother convincing the buyer to go with my cash offer over the mortgage related offer, when Tom knows a cash buyer is better than a mortgage buyer in todays market. I felt he just was not interested in helping me purchase another property at all. He was very lethargic. And the second property that he showed me, my family did not like as there were issues with that property. But that's it, I was just shown 2 properties, which is pathetic. 3) I have now offered on a property through another agent. This property is a new build development. Tom at C&W are also selling these apartments but Tom did not show me these apartments nor discuss them with me! Even though I told him I am looking for rental yield of £1450 pcm. A rival estate agent showed me and when I spoke to Tom about it for advice, he seemed annoyed that another agent has shown me this property. Furthermore he proceeded to speak negatively about this development and tried to put me off from offering and purchasing it.I found Tom's conduct really appalling and manipulative. I complained to head office at Arun Estates who own Cubitt and West and their investigation manager Godfrey was a completely biased person where he "carried out an investigation" but only spoke to Tom about my complaint and didn't bother calling and speaking to me to get further details on the matter and to thus carry out a thorough proper investigation. Godfrey just wrote back after 3 long weeks, that he found nothing wrong with Tom's conduct. To us as a family this was a complete and utter joke.This does show though that the head of operations and customer services complaint department at Cubitt and West are there just to help cover up their fellow employees deceptive tactics, so don't expect them to sort anything out for you, if you also end up having a problem with any other their staff's conduct in any of their branches!

I highly recommend Cubitt & West for anyone looking to sell their property in Crawley. I switched over to them after 6 months with a bigger estate agent after being frustrated and disappointed with their service, marketing and lack of communication. Nichole and her team from Cubitt & West were the complete opposite. They were very friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout the whole process. They gave me honest advice, arranged viewings quickly and within a few weeks I had accepted an offer. They also handled the sale smoothly and kept me updated regularly. I sold via Auction with the help of Cailean in the East Grinstead office. Having had many years of bad experiences trying to sell, Cailean has completely restored my faith in Estate Agents. He has been in constant contact, recognising the particular timeline I needed to work too. When the solicitors were delaying, Cailean worked doggedly to ensure that completion was within the required timeframes, and acted as a fantastic interlocutor between myself and the buyers when the Solicitors seemed unable to agree on anything. I cannot speak highly enough of Cailean, nor Claire, Brendan and the rest of the team when Cailean was unavailable

Cubitt and West Waterlooville were brilliant when my wife and I put our house on the market with them. Sadly though, due to the climate of the housing market at the time, there was not much movement or interest so we decided to stay put for a few more years. However, during the time with Cubitt, they were always very polite and honest, and I would definitely recommend them if wanting to sell your property.

Great experience from start to finish ! From valuation ,photos ,open day and handling offers we found the team ,Zoey ,Michael ,Julie and all others involved really professional. We had never sold a property before and after being in the same house for 34 years it was a daunting prospect. The team made all steps as easy as possible and kept us informed very regularly at every stage. We ended up getting numerous offers in excess of the asking price and would definitely recommend Cubitts for any property moves to family and friends.

Very impressed with the service from the Cubitt & West Southsea office and a big thank you for all your efforts in achieving a successful sale. Over the years we had put a lot of effort into lovingly restoring our period apartment and from the start this was understood by Samara and the team. We were impressed by the marketing of our property and the package provided (including 3D tour) did justice to the internal spaces. The level of communication both before and after viewings was excellent. The sale our property was complicated by The Building Safety Act, however, Julie went above and beyond to ensure this was as smooth as possible. We can’t thank Julie enough for her communication skills (and patience), which proved invaluable in negotiating unfamiliar territory, ensuring all parties were kept informed and up to date on progress, we couldn’t have done it without you!
