TrustpilotOutrageous and awful management service
As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

GoogleIt has been a great experience working with Miriame Eshtehardi and her colleague Ramshey Khan on the recent sale of our property . Miriame has gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping my wife and I close out what was a rather complicated transaction. She showed calm, astute judgement and persistence in ensuring that the eventual buyer was able to complete the necessary steps for the sale. She worked well with our solicitor and ensured that, as sellers, we were always on top of things. So Miriame did not just find a buyer for us at the right price, she worked hard over many months to make the sale happen! Thank you Miriame, and thank you Ramshey for being such an able support to Miriame and us.

GoogleChris Cooper has been amazing in helping us find a new place! We gave him a less than 24-hour deadline to find us a new place to live due to a bad experience with our past landlord. He was able to find us a place, finalise the tenancy agreement and give us the keys, all within 8 hours. He was a lifesaver and without him and his professionalism we would have been homeless. Working with him was amazing, he is extremely professional, efficient and hardworking. We full heartedly recommend him if you ever looking to rent. GoogleAVOID AT ALL COST! Rented one of their properties from 2018-2020, contract ended and was never renewed; I received a letter from Ealing council stating Foxtons have said that I have been renting until 2024. I have asked Foxton numerous times to remove me from their system as I do not live there anymore. They acknowledged I do not live there, yet I still got a notice from Ealing Council I owe them £8k council tax from 2019-2024. They have been using my details without permission to renew the contract. Save yourself the hassle.

GoogleIn my opinion a professional estate agency should vet the quality of landlord they advertise for. I have had a terrible time with a sub standard landlord who has left me without a functioning toilet for 9 weeks. Probably even more significant is the gas safety certificate that expired two months ago. I believe this to be illegal. I have contacted Foxtons on four different occasions to ask for help. I have always spoken to polite young people who promise to follow this up and call me back. No one has ever called me back. They clearly wash their hands of any responsibility as soon as the fee has been collected despite having a duty of care to the tenants. I have now raised these issues with the local council and the Health and safety Executive. I will now attempt to contact Foxtons at a more senior level and raise a complaint. Please take my experience into consideration when deciding which estate agency to use.

As I was looking for my first property to rent in the UK, many agents other than Foxtons did not go any further with my case as my referencing details are not ready and Foxton’s and particularly Mr. Chris helped me a lot to get all these details done and now I am happy with my new property.

Our experience with Foxtons has been nothing short of frustrating. From the very beginning, communication was poor. Before moving in, emails went unanswered or delayed, and once we raised urgent issues like a serious mold problem, it was not addressed in a timely manner. We also went without heating for weeks in the winter before finally being given a few space heaters as a stop-gap.

I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.
