Perfect for quick renting search. Adam Rharib was really kind and helpful. He understood my requirements and accordingly showed me the properties. I got to visit and finalize property that isn’t listed on any other sites. Best part is the referencing turn around time. I moved in within 7days. Usually, everyone looks for service untill they have it. Team at foxtons particularly Adam handholds and connects frequently with us after we moved in to speak freely about any issues. Best agents in the town gotta be here.

I have just completed on a sale with Andy Hoad who has been absolutely brilliant. It was a long and complicated sale yet Andy was always very, VERY patient and professional while dealing with a very stressed first time buyer (me) and what seemed to me like an equally stressed seller. His extensive knowledge and expertise is truly impressive… on top of this he’s a really nice guy! I am also sure he’s a great role model and leader to his team. In few words AMAZING, STRAIGHTFORWARD & HONEST STAFF. Here is my little side story finding my new home, I have spent over two weeks with “RSK” to rent a one bed flat, after viewing a place I have submitted my offer same amount of the asking price, later on I was told landlord not responding, after chasing for two days, I was told they have received many offers and if I want to increase my chance for approval first of all need to increase my offer (offer higher than asking price) and lock yourself into 48 months break. Which I did that.. then days after days no response, then I was told the landlord decided to give the property to another letting agency. Which was complete waste of time! After all I gave up with RSK and visited Foxtons, in same day I have viewed several properties which was in area of my interest and singed my tenancy contract with an absolute zero hassle, I was also offered free transport for viewings, and beverage whilst I was in the office. Foxtons also uses one of the lead and trusted referencing agencies where all your personal/sensitive information kept safe with brilliant customer service line. Massive thank you to Adam and Danielle & Izzy (who introduced me to Foxtons)

Adam Rharib was amazing. He found me and my husband our perfect place in under a week! He listened to all my deal breakers and must haves. It was our first time renting and he couldn’t of made it easier for us for our first experience. He was always in great communication and doesn’t waste any time. This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

I feel that the experience was negative

I put my flat up for sale with my Foxtons, I was going to go with another agent but they were very pushy and said how they managed to sell better than anyone so I went with them. I was under the impression my flat would go straight up but after I signed the contract it took them 2 weeks to take photos and put them up, in the meantime they put up a video of the flat from a mid-term inspection where it looked absolutely disgusting. I had never seen this video and I don't see why it would be allowed to be put up without my permission, I asked for it to be removed, they didn't and it took them nearly the 2 weeks to remove it. The photos they took were adequate but not particularly great, I was pretty disappointed. I felt that the price was extremely over inflated (like all their prices) but respected they knew better than me, but when every single person gave feedback that it was way overpriced and no one showed any interest I became quite embarrassed. I found it very hard to contact my sales agent and just gave up most times after leaving numerous messages. I heard from my agent 10 times more before I signed with them than I did during my contract. When I gave notice 28 days before the end after having no interest, I was reminded how they are the number one and warned that going to another agent would not solve the issue. Their commission is so much more than everyone else but I feel my experience with their sales agent was extremely poor and I can't believe I had no interest in my nice flat. I feel I made a mistake going with them and would caution anyone thinking of them. Also I rented my flat with them for nearly 2 decades and my last tenant emailed them notice which they said they did not receive until the next day so they extended the end date to one day beyond the end of the month, they then charged me a management fee of £9 for the one day (and she paid £1 something rent for that one day). I will never rent with them again due to the complete lack of transparency with regards to money. (As for the excuse that the housing market is quiet I put my other property up for sale at the same time and it sold within 2 weeks, but then again the photos were really good and the price was reasonable).

Do not rent through Foxtons

If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

We are so grateful to Andy Hoad at Foxtons, Ealing, who has been a tower of strength, dispensing wisdom based on years of experience in a calm, considered and thoughtful manner. House moves are stressful whether you are buying or selling or both and I doubt we would have got to this point with our sanity intact if it had not been for Andy's guidance. Quite frankly he has been absolutely wonderful and we would recommend him without any reservations whatsoever. He didn't put a foot wrong at any point in the whole process. Definitely worth the fee!

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

Had a bad experience with Foxtons Ealing in Feb this year. I turned up to two viewings with the Agent to find that one of the properties had already been let by another agent. The tenant was physically in the property when we turned up - very awkward. Saw a second property and was rushed into making an offer to then be told that that property had also already been let by another agent when I had viewed it. Obviously, they're not very on top of their admin. I then made an offer for a different property which was accepted, paid the deposit and months rent in advance, signed the contract was given a move in date to then be told a couple of weeks before my move-in date that the landlord had pulled out. They gave me my money back quickly and were very apologetic, at least. I ended up getting a property through a different estate agent with no issues at all. Attempting to go through Foxtons turned out to be a waste of my time. I got the impression that they rush everything from advertising properties, getting potential tenants to make offers and getting landlords to accept said offers with none of the parties being 100% happy. They were very nice people but clearly not very organised/competent.
