After I emailed the company showing interest in properties I received a consultation call where I was asked questions to narrow down the field and got offered a few properties to look at later that week. Jessica was the agent I was assigned and definitely hit the jackpot she was very kind, polite and professional and had amazing knowledge regarding the properties we were viewing. After a few sessions, 3 viewings of the same property and a lot of patience from Jessica, eventually I made the decision and I put in my offer. I couldn't recommend them any more especially as a first time buyer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In August 2023 I put my Ealing town house on the market with four estate agencies including Foxtons. Over the next three months (when mortgage rates were very high) there were 52 viewings, 31 of which came via Foxtons alone. Their introductions brought about an offer which I accepted and resulted in contracts being smoothly exchanged after only nine weeks despite the Christmas break during which our solicitors had closed their offices. Throughout the whole process I was very impressed with all of the staff at Foxtons Ealing office who conducted themselves in a very professional manner, especially Miriame and Andy who maintained close communication with me throughout. Thank you Foxtons. So pleased I appointed you.

My flatmate had come from outside london to view a property in finsbury park and was only told once he got to the appointment that david morgan was not going to make the appointment due to being unwell, extremely unprofessional, he should have gotten one of his colleagues to cover the flat viewing or atleast message us in advance.

I am extremely satisfied with Rooheen from Foxtons, his exceptional customer service is amazing. I did not drive when we are looking for apartments, Rooheen was happy to drive us around the palces and eager to explain the marketing and locations. Also, Rooheen is super friendly and approachable; I asked him to send videos when I was unable to view the apartments. I would like to recommend my friends and others to reach Rooheen anytime.

Professional, punctual, polite, prompt

Five stars for Mr. Hassan Bacchus of Foxtons. He is extremely professional, polite, and reliable. He managed to find great tenants and rent out my property in only one week.

Foxtons wrongly extended our tenancy end date then withheld our deposit on non payment of rent grounds. Even after acknowledging their 'error' it took 2 months for them to correct it. The money was only returned after a letter before action for a small claims court was sent. Other customers are advised to exercise extreme caution with how deposits are safeguarded.

I was spoken to quite rudely on the phone with agents pushing for an earlier viewing or just scheduling a viewing without asking for availabilities. I have told agents multiple times to stop calling me but this was not heard. I even removed my information from the portal and noted that I am no longer looking for a property. I still receive 3-4 calls a day whilst informing them that I do not want to rent through them.

Foxtons Letting Commission…

Just to share my experience and warn anybody thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be vey happy to take full year commission in advance but if your tenant moves out before the full year period, Foxtons will not refund your commission in cash but just leave the amount as a credit in your account even you no longer have the intention to rent out your property. Area director of Foxtons claimed that this is in line with Foxtons terms of business. Beware before you choose Foxtons letting services.

Recently completed the purchase of my first home with Foxtons, and I would be very happy to work with them again. Andy was my point of contact and was excellent at responding to my many questions and at keeping me informed throughout the process! He really helped to make the whole experience far smoother than I was expecting.

I truly do not understand who in their…

I truly do not understand who in their right mind has ever rated Foxtons 5 stars. Unfortunately I have been in contact with them at multiple occasions but I am happy to say that today was the last. They arrange viewings for properties that has already been let, WHY not cancel if anything happened between the time of booking and the viewing actually taking place. This seems to be a common occurrence for Foxtons. Other than that, the agents are the rudest human beings I have ever spoken to. Surely I’ve not been unfortunate enough to have come across the ONLY employees at Foxtons that hate their jobs so this seems to be a big issue over there. When calling it seems as though you just ruined their entire day. I’m SORRY I was interested in the properties you have listed, that by the way isn’t even available. If calls like these are a displeasure to the agents I would suggest removing the ads.

Foxtons and especially Hossam was excellent at helping us every step of the way in getting our new apartment that we're now in love with. We really appreciate his dedication as this apartment was never originally in our thoughts and if it was not for him we'd never have even known such an amazing place was available for such a competitive monthly rent, much thanks to Foxtons and Hossam and we'll definitely be using them again if we're ever moving in the future 😀 .

We have used Foxtons twice now to find short-let apartments. Our agent, Rooheen Ebrahimi, has been absolutely fantastic and an absolute lifesaver. Despite the challenges of our search, including very tight deadlines and multiple specific criteria, Rooheen went above and beyond to find us the perfect properties. He even used his own free time to call us, arrange viewings, and personally show us several apartments. We cannot recommend Foxtons (but more importantly, Rooheen) enough for anyone seeking a highly capable and dependable lettings agent who will make it their mission to find you the perfect property.

Incompetence and lies on a legendary scale!

I had my property up for sale with Foxtons, an offer collapsed, and so I decided to consider rental. After I spoke to the rental department, they took a renter into my property without my permission, hadn't even signed a contract. Luckily, the person liked it and offered a good rent. The agent lied to the renter and me, messed up three contracts, so by the time he signed the fourth contract on my behalf, the renter had been in my flat for 10 days. Lucky he signed! He told me that I could not protect the deposit...lie. He told me that the second 6-month rent payment would be paid on the fourth month...lie. And it was not paid in advance on the 5th month like every other agent; the tenant is now late with the second 6-month payment. I complained to the manager, but he ignored my complaints. The whole office is corrupt. Really, do yourself a favour, there are good letting agents out there, Foxtons is not one of them.

Tenants experience

We were tenants in a property Sarah Kelsey managed, and were very grateful for her attentiveness and friendliness. If there was ever any issues with the property Sarah was quick to action them and they were resolved very quickly.

Very bad experience with Foxton Ealing. On 21 Aug 24, Booked 2 BR flat in one of their marketed property in Southall. Move in date and tenancy start date was agreed to be 1st Nov 24. Paid deposit and 1st month rent. Everything was good on Foxton web portal and agent confirmed that nothing is required from my side. A day before move in ( 31st Oct), I was informed by Foxton Agent Adam that Right to rent check was pending and I had to complete within next few hours only. On 1st Nov, I left my old premises, packed my luggage and went to reception only to be told that the landlord does not have any information about me moving in. My family and I got panicked, tried contacting agent Adam who rarely respond. After couple of hours of follow up, I contacted Foxton Ealing office who resolved the issue but only after I had to spend a night in another commercial place and we could move in on 2nd Nov. I would not recommend Foxton Ealing

I had a fantastic experience working with Foxtons in Ealing, and I want to give special thanks to Stephen Vasquez for his outstanding service throughout the process. Stephen’s communication was prompt and clear, which made everything feel smooth during the viewing process. He demonstrated excellent knowledge of the local market and offered valuable insights that helped me make informed decisions.

New X Foxtons is appalling

New Cross Gate letting office is appalling. I had a misfortune to invite them a few years back for valuation and then when changed my mind, asked them to delete me from their database as wasn't planning to do anything with my house. And guess what every year I am receiving unsolicited calls inquiring about valuation, letting, selling. They promise to delete my number every time they call once every half a year in average, pathetic.

Miriame and Andy were great in helping us sell our freehold house in Pitshanger. They kept us informed and helped navigate any issues that needed to be resolved. They both know the market and always have good advice. Foxtons was the third agent we went with and they successfully sold the house when others couldn't in a difficult market at the time.

I am beyond appalled and furious with the disgraceful level of incompetence and unprofessionalism exhibited by this Foxtons branch during our search for a flat. My partner and I were under a tight deadline to move out and instead of making the process easier, Foxtons managed to frustrate us more than anything. Our ordeal began when my partner found a listing through Foxtons and scheduled a viewing. Instead of the original property, we were redirected to a different flat. I attended the viewing and was assured by Mo, our assigned agent, that the process would be straightforward. We were told that if we liked the flat, we would apply for referencing through Greenford Quay, pay a holding deposit, and if the referencing fell through, we’d get our deposit back. Mo claimed that they had successfully worked with Greenford Quay before and that everything would go smoothly. We loved the flat and decided to proceed. That’s when the nightmare began. Despite assurances of a smooth process the referencing process turned into an absolute mess. We were left chasing updates constantly, with no clear answers. Mo, who was fully aware of our tight timeframe, was either completely unresponsive or gave us empty promises to “look into it”. At times, he vanished like a ghost, leaving us in the dark with no idea of what was happening. Frustrated and desperate, we managed to get in touch with Taj, the branch manager “Allegedly“, hoping for some resolution. He listened to our situation, reassured us that he would personally oversee the matter, and promised to get to the bottom of it. But, true to form, we received no further updates or assistance from him either. Weeks later, It got to the point where we had to physically visit the letting agency because we were being ghosted by these so-called professionals. When we finally confronted Mo in person, he had the nerve to apologise for being “too busy” to return our calls or texts, and then, to add insult to injury, he blamed the situation on changes in the Greenford Quays referencing department’s management, information that would’ve been critical to know earlier. As if that wasn’t enough, Mo tried to salvage the situation by offering us a supposedly perfect flat that hadn’t even been listed yet. He promised us a first look at the flat the very next morning. I even rescheduled another viewing to prioritise this one, foolishly trusting Mo’s word. But, predictably, Mo failed us again. Despite promising to send us confirmation and details by the end of the day, we heard nothing until 20 minutes before the scheduled viewing, Mo finally admitted that they didn’t even have the keys to the flat, and it wouldn’t be available for viewing until next week! Instead, he sent us a video and a link to a different flat that was also unavailable. At this point, our patience was completely exhausted. Not only did we have to endure Greenford Quay’s incompetence, but Foxtons also proved to be equally unreliable and unprofessional. The complete lack of communication, the constant misinformation, and the utter disregard for our time and situation were outrageous. Foxtons has utterly shattered any confidence and trust we had in them. Mo and Taj have ruined our entire experience, and I can confidently say that I will never do business with Foxtons again. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this incompetent branch. They are nothing but a waste of time and energy.

Foxtons Ealing have been very professional and helpful in getting us to move Ealing Broadway area, they have been a very professional estate agent (especially compared to some of the other agencies in the area). The seller (living abroad) was quite unreasonable however, they conduct themselves professionally and fairly - rather than pushing us on negotiations. We couldn't go ahead with the purchase due to seller being absolutely unreasonable, however, Binaca has been really helpful in keeping us constantly in communication on any new developments and through out this whole process.
