I cannot fault Mike at Corrigall Black estate agents. He was extremely quick to respond to enquiries, very efficient with every request, and even met me at the property on exchange of contract day to hand over the keys personally so i didnt have to drive my large van around town to collect them from the office. With him he bought a bottle of Prossecco for me as a house warming gift, what an exceptionally kind gesture. I recently moved to Dunoon and Mike McKenna from Corrigall Black represented the seller of the property I bought. From the first contact I made to arrange a viewing, Mike’s service was outstanding. He demonstrates a new approach to estate agency that goes way beyond anything I have experienced from any other agency. He was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable about the property and very prompt prior to my purchase. After the purchase, he came into his own as far as service is concerned. Mike’ support for my move was way beyond the service estate agencies usually provided. This is a new approach. He efficiently dealt with seller/buyer transition issues, he provided me with the names and numbers of tested local tradesmen to ease the settling, he called in to make sure everything was as it should be. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are buying or selling property in the Dunoon and Argyll area you would be mad to go anywhere other than Corrigall Black and Mike McKenna. This is what personal service in estate agency should be like, I could not recommend this company more highly. 5 stars and way more. After several years we decided to let go a property . We met Mike and straight away I felt at easy with him . He gave good sound advice on how best to proceed. Giving the very difficult circumstances of CV19 we went live the day if lock down but we had good interest and went to closing . We used Corrigal Black estate agency to sell our house and obtained an offer for it in about 5 weeks. We cannot praise Mike McKenna enough for his enthusiasm and helpfulness. He was always on hand to answer our questions and allay our anxiety through this stressful time. We also used Corrigal Black for the conveyancing of the house we sold and for buying another one. Although their legal expertise is beyond question we found that there was a lack of communication in updating us regularly on what was happening . My sister and I had to sell our Aunt's house two years ago, and the conveyancing company involved made it a policy to inform the Client of every stge reached in the process. Perhaps Corrigal Black should adopt this procedure also, so as to reduce the stress for the Clients.

I bought my house in August 2018. Mike took my daughter and I to the house at the start of August. He was genuine, honest and straightforward. No pushy sales tactics or nonsense. Really easy to work with and always helpful. He took every effort to understand what we needed, found out the extra information we wanted and made us feel really welcome to the area.
