My sister and I recently used Mike McKenna at Corrigall Black Solicitors to sell my mum’s house, and the service from start to finish was fantastic. Mike was very understanding and sensitive to the fact that it was our late mum’s property, which meant a lot to us during what could have been a difficult time. He handled everything with professionalism, care, and respect. Mike made the whole process smooth and stress-free. His communication was excellent throughout, he kept us updated at every stage and was always quick to respond if we had any questions. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Selling a property can be overwhelming, but Mike handled everything efficiently and gave us real confidence that the sale was in good hands. I would definitely use Mike again if I were selling another property, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.

We resided in Canada for 22 years and we came to retirement and decided to return back to Uk. After months of trawling property websites looking for south west Scotland we came across an interesting listing with Corrigall Black in Dunoon. We arranged a trip over to Uk and set up a viewing through Mike, the estate agency manager. Communication was superb and we met him at the property on Feb 14th 2024. Amazingly, the deal was done in 33 days and we became owners of a property near Dunoon. Mike was superb throughout the whole transition and the legal aspects were dealt with by Corrigall Blacks solicitors! They were all wonderful, friendly, reactive, professional, and kept us posted right through the entire process!!we had never visited Dunoon before, never knew anybody from here but Corrigal Black became our Dunoon “Family” . I bought my house from Mike in August 2018, and he has now sold it for me in October 2024. I have struggled to put into words just how much my wife and I appreciate what Mike has achieved in selling our home. Mike kept in touch at every turn and not once did we have to chase him up. What can I say but WOW. Definitely 5 star service from Mike McKenna. We had a particularly tricky sale that actually fell through from no fault of anyone. This was a particularly stressful time for myself and my husband. Mike was fantastic. He reassured us, supported us, listened to us and was there and available above and beyond the call of duty. Mike didn’t give up and soon we had another buyer. Mike takes pride in his work and does not fit the usually negative criteria of an estate agent. We found our ideal property through the efforts of Mike McKenna who was aware of our requirements. He found exactly what we wanted. We were living in England at the time and were a little concerned about buying from such a distance away, but Mike kept us regularly updated by email and phone with progress and this lessened the inevitable stress. He was extremely helpful and friendly, if he wasn't available when I called him he would call us back within 30 mins or so.
