There was some issues with our house buy however this was very quickly resolved by the team who worked full steam ahead to make our purchase move faster. Mike McKenna began working with me even before I saw a potential house. I had moved away from the area and wanted to return. Mike was made aware of what I was looking for and let us know when anything that might have met quite specific needs was coming up. He was friendly and welcoming, and at the same time worked with great professionalism. His own interest in home renovating/decorating was helpful as I pondered through different possibilities. From the very beginning Mike was friendly, informative, professional and very approachable and answered any queries we had promptly and courteously. I had the opportunity of working with Mike McKenna on 3 different properties prior to making a successful offer and purchasing the third in Dunoon. If I compare the service that I received from agents in Kent when selling my property there to relocate to Scotland, it's like chalk and cheese! Mike was in constant contact on all 3 properties keeping me updated on developments and always accommodating meetings and property visit requests and seeing the purchase over the line whereas the Kent agents didn't keep in touch at all after the initial appraisal and I personally had to show my property to the eventual buyers! I feel compelled to write a review. My name is John Pears and my family and I have recently Immigrated from South Africa.to Scotland. I first contacted Mike McKenna from Corrigall Black in Dunoon while still in SA, responding to an add we had seen online. We had no idea of what area we wanted to even be in - but Mike was still willing to help us and answer all the questions we had - he went above and beyond! From that moment on and untill we found the house we wanted, Mike was unrelenting in assisting us and guiding us through an extremely daunting process with 3 young children in a new country. We found Corrigall Black to be a far cry from the average estate agent company that we had been exposed to. They were incredibly professional at all times, and without question they had our best interest at heart. What can I say but excellent in every respect. We were re-locating from England to Scotland and Mike McKenna, whom we dealt with, was warm and friendly and incredibly knowledgable - even down to advising us of how good the M6 Toll road would be for our journey up - he was right, took a couple of hours off of our trip! I cannot recommend Corrigall Black enough. Local knowledge and efficient expertise just make the entire experience flow with minimal stress. It really helps having people like Mike and his team on your side - your questions will be answered, your nerves will be soothed and you'll get to your new home with a minimum of fuss and stress.
