The whole process was completed efficiently and, in particular, Sam Sturdy (Sales Progressor) was brilliant throughout. Sam was always available to answer any queries or do any chasing up as necessary, and always responded in a quick timeframe. We would definitely recommend Nicol & Co and that is mainly down to Sam's efforts and support.

Unhappy with way that we were in a bidding round. Bid the highest, offered property and then had it withdrawn as we were not a cash buyer and agent was holding inaccurate information on us. There was no mention of other criteria being used until this point. Believe we were artificially used to up the price. If dealing with this agent make sure the terms of the bid process are given to you in writing.

When two or more parties are interested in the same property someone has to be unsuccessful as you were in this case. Whilst this is unfortunate it is also inevitable that someone ends up disappointed
We always ensure that we ask at the earliest possible stage the method being used to purchase a property whether cash or mortgage.
We would normally collect this information at the time you make your initial offer and. our notes do state that you were a cash buyer.
When the best and final offers were put forward it was on the basis that both interested parties were able to proceed without a mortgage.
When it became clear that this was not the case we were duty bound to report this information to the vendor and this made a significant difference to the decision making process. Ultimately this meant that you were unsuccessful on this occasion.
The comment you make about being used to "up the price" is untrue and without foundation and something we fully refute in the strongest possible terms

GoogleWe used Nicol and Co, Droitwich to sell our late parents home. At the beginning of selling our house we were originally told they expected the house to sell within a few weeks and potentially had a buyer lined up. Infact it took over a year. Which we were disappointed by.
On a positive note however, Chloe at the Droitwich branch has been excellent. She has kept us informed step by step and has alway been on the end of the phone to answer any questions.
