Excellent service from start to finish

We have recently bought a property through Nicol's. We viewed several properties in Droitwich, mainly through Nicol's, They updated us with relevant properties, without wasting our time with unsuitable properties. Viewings were always conducted very professionally, but in a friendly and relaxed way. After agreeing a purchase, we were kept very well informed during a rather protracted period before exchange. The icing on the cake was a welcome pack, with a few useful items, but most importantly information about and some offers from local shops and services. My only negative comment would be their use of 'Offers Over', which can lead to a rather stressful bidding process. However, these seemed to be carried out in a perfectly fair and well organised way; and I understand that their job is to maximise profit for their client.. In my experience, Nicol and Co is a very professional, well organised, and friendly estate agent..

Fantabulous

The viewing was great! Everything that we wanted from the flat and from the agent. We were allowed a very healthy amount of time in the property to view it all fully. 'Amy Hall' the estate agent was extremely helpful to have with us answering any questions we had to ask. Amy would fill us in with property details as we travelled around the property however gave us plenty of time and space to explore for ourselves. Any questions Amy was unsure of she noted down and within 15 minutes of leaving the property I recieved a phone call with all the answers. Can't fault the viewing.

unclear bidding process

Unhappy with way that we were in a bidding round. Bid the highest, offered property and then had it withdrawn as we were not a cash buyer and agent was holding inaccurate information on us. There was no mention of other criteria being used until this point. Believe we were artificially used to up the price. If dealing with this agent make sure the terms of the bid process are given to you in writing.

Thank you for your comments. When two or more parties are interested in the same property someone has to be unsuccessful as you were in this case. Whilst this is unfortunate it is also inevitable that someone ends up disappointed We always ensure that we ask at the earliest possible stage the method being used to purchase a property whether cash or mortgage. We would normally collect this information at the time you make your initial offer and. our notes do state that you were a cash buyer. When the best and final offers were put forward it was on the basis that both interested parties were able to proceed without a mortgage. When it became clear that this was not the case we were duty bound to report this information to the vendor and this made a significant difference to the decision making process. Ultimately this meant that you were unsuccessful on this occasion. The comment you make about being used to "up the price" is untrue and without foundation and something we fully refute in the strongest possible terms If you would like to discuss the matter further please do not hesitate in contacting us.

We have been dealing with Natasha Warr from Nicol & co of Droitwich Spa, We have found her knowledge of the properties they have available for sale which would suit our needs to be very good.. Paul helped us to find our dream first home, which took many different viewings, during which Paul was friendly, professional and helpful. AMY A Delight and VERY proffesional, and on Time

Refreshing change,someone who actualy does there job. Nothing was too much trouble. Took time to show us round properly without the added sales pressure which can be off putting.
