GoogleMany thanks to the team at Nicol and Co. Selling a house at any time can be met with challenges but during a pandemic? It’s been a journey!
I must mention those that have held our hand during our sale. Robin McKenzie was absolutely superb in conducting the valuation of our home. In all ways, extremely professional and able to see what we saw when we bought the house 8 and a half years ago. There was no question we’d use Nicol and Co.
This was cemented by Dan Westwood who had a family in mind for our home. He sold the house before going on the market and less than 5 days after agreeing to proceed!
Evie Bennett, who was by our side for many months progressing the sale through the pandemic was extremely kind, patient and understanding. She relentlessly and tirelessly communicated on our behalf, even when we were at times, demanding and exacting through a stressful and drawn out sale due to the pandemic. I can’t thank the team enough for all they did and special thanks to Evie who dealt with our sale with warmth, humour and patience.

GoogleWorst experience I have had with an agency all my life.
I booked an appointment at 15:00, the train was cancelled and I called to say I'll make it at 15:20.
They assured me someone will come back to me if anything changes.
Went at the property. No one was there.
Called twice, the first lady reassured me she will ask someone to call me back. The second time the gentleman said that they close at 15:30 and he wasn't sure why no one had come back to me to say anything.
I waited for 20 min outside. It is -4° and no one was that professional to give a call back to a potential client. If there was a 0 star choice, I would have chosen that instead of 1.

The channel of communication remained open from the moment we had our property valued by Robin to when we collected the keys at completion. They allowed us to view properties that were on their books but were not yet on the market and it was one of these that we are now lucky enough to call our home. It was actually Matt Nicol who was in the hot seat when we sold our house and it came as a result of him following up with previously interested parties after we decided to drop our asking price slightly. Once at the stage of completing legal documentation Nicol & Co sent an employee to our house to ensure it was done correctly, thus avoiding any delays further down the line. This was an unexpected bonus that was hugely appreciated. The sales progression team were exceptionally helpful and Odette was able to guide us through answering the inquiries we received from our purchasers and Coral ensured the solicitors were working towards the timeline we had requested. Nicol & Co were there to guide us at every step of the process and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

I decided to put my house on the market with Nicol & Co in January and by mid March we had accepted an offer, unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we lost a link in our chain and decided to not re-market straight away but wait to see if we could complete the chain again. After a few weeks of discussions with our purchaser it became apparent through no fault of them that we had no chain and we decided to back on the market.Within a week Nicol & Co had found us another buyer with no chain and booked a viewing pretty much straight away. On the same day of the viewing we also accepted the offer and within a matter of weeks are now enjoying our new home which we couldn’t have done without them.I’d also like to take the opportunity to make a special mention to Coral, Dan & Evie for working extremely hard for us during this difficult time and getting the result we wanted. GoogleAs a first time buyer, the Nicol and Co team (Droitwich) have gone out of there way to make my transition to my new home as easily understandable and accommodated as possible. They supported me throughout the process from chasing emails to solicitors, to making the process progress, whilst also advising me along the way.
The Team have had fantastic communication getting back to me almost immediately and giving me regular updates as to the progression of the move. To top it off they gave me a lovely moving in hamper supplied with cleaning products, home magazines and vouchers to help buy my first appliances.
I would highly recommend Nicol and Co to any first time buyer or home mover as they make what can be a very stressful process feel like it's in safe hands and clearly explain what's going on behind the scenes.
