Nicol & Co, and in particular Leanne, have been outstanding throughout the process of my purchase. They weren’t even my estate agent and yet they still kept me informed almost every day. We had a few close calls in our chain when things could’ve fallen through, and I felt that Leanne fought harder than all the other professionals I dealt with. I heard more from her than my own estate agent and solicitor put together. Excellent service and if I ever need an estate agent in the future, I’ll be using Nicol & Co.

At the beginning of the year my partner and I were considering putting our house up for sale - we did what everyone tells you not to and fell in love with another house before ours had even been put on screen!We called Nicol & Co and asked them to come round to carry out a valuation, within 24 hours Matt Bennett was on our door step ready to get the ball rolling. Less than a week later our house was on the market, online, with viewings booked in. Matt couldn't have been more helpful, he was honest about what would and wouldn't improve our chances for a quick sale - all of which was completely right! And within a day of it being on with Nicol & Co it was sold. Great first offer, that we accepted and now we live in our dream home!I couldn't be more grateful to Matt Bennett and his colleagues. My partner and I have had the worst experience with these Charlatans. They are dishonest, never reply back in time, do not do what they say. They are shoddy and a bloody joke! They forgot to mention before we moved in we couldn’t hang our washing out and we ended up being harassed and abused by other tenants for doing this. We asked for a Meter reading ASAP and still haven’t had one. And the list could go on. My family rent out two houses and if their agents were half as bad as these guys they’d have fired them already! The whole team who dealt with our rental at Powick Mills were useless! The lady who showed us around the house was fab and it stopped there! We Had to wait months for reply’s back and had to chase it up. Lights and fixtures were never changed as promised in the space of 7 Months! This is not even to mention that we were promised a week before we moved in the whole place would be completely cleaned and painted which it wasn’t so we had to ask and fight for that to be done which I believe was completed a day before. We heard such good things about Nicol and co but we have been totally let down. We had a customer care call, to which we told them all of this and nothing ever happened and no one ever came back to us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS EVEN OUR LANDLORD IS SELLING WITH ANOTHER AGENCY!

We first met Dominique on Good Friday and we sold and bought a day and a half later, on Easter Sunday. What other estate agents are available to take calls on a bank holiday? none that I am aware of and this is why we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicol & Co. Leanne then took over and made the process as easy as possible. It was a little difficult towards the end which was out of their control but Leanne was always in contact with us throughout the whole process. Towards the end she pulled out all of the stops and made the chains preferred completion date a reality. It was great work from the whole team at Nicol & Co. If you’re thinking of using them, to sell your house, or to buy a house through them, you will not be disappointed.

Very impressed from the buyers side. Coral was great throughout. Coral balanced the expectations of both the buyer and seller very well. Very pleasant and polite all the time - a refreshing experience with an estate agent. Excellent from beginning-to-end with our purchase… and they weren’t even our agent! Nicol & Co were instrumental in getting our purchase over the line on the final day of the Stamp Duty Relief window in June last year. Communication was great throughout the process, and they put in some outstanding effort to keep the chain moving. We even received a wonderful moving-in hamper from them when we collected our keys. They genuinely put our own agent to shame, and I can certainly see why they consistently have the lion’s share of property on the market in Droitwich. Highly recommended.

We rented a house managed by Nicol and co and from the beginning there were many, many problems from a gas leak to 4 water leaks (showers + roof conservatory, oil tank leak, oil hose leak (in the kitchen!). This is the most important summary, but there was much more. However, the worse was Nicol and co supported the landlord in his behaviour of disrepair. We called the Whychavon council for help. The council forced them to repair all of the above and more, they even broke the deadline the council provided. Nicol and co and the landlord reacted very defensive and the communciation was very bad. We wrote Matt Nicol in the hope of improving the situation, but he reacted defensively too. Luckily, we could finally leave the property. We organised a professional cleaning by a widely recommended organisation but still struggle to get the deposit back. Honestly, we cannot recommend this estate agency for renting a house. It was a nightmare.

My wife and I recently moved to Droitwich. The house we bought was being marketed by Nicol & Co, Droitwich. We were very impressed with them from our first viewing of the house, through to completion. The various people we dealt with were friendly yet professional and extremely helpful. I felt that at various times during the process, they went well beyond what might be expected. Our attempts to move to the West Midlands took some months and during that time we viewed a lot of properties. Nicol & Co were undoubtedly the best estate agents with whom we had contact.
