Rented a flat with Andrews. When we viewed it people were still living there, we were told once they moved out the flat would be made good. Anyway on moving day, once we had paid our deposits, moved out of our old flat and had all of our belongings in a van we turned up at the flat to find it an absolute mess! By this point it was too late to turn back, we had no running cold water for weeks, leaks in the roof, flooring missing down to the bare concrete, exposed wiring and many many more problems. We tried contacting Andrews but the staff would just put us off continually for months on end. It ended with the manager refusing to speak to us - but what else could we do other than invest thousands of pounds of our own money to fix these problems? It was an absolute nightmare. Absolute disregard for their customers who in their opinion is obviously the landlord NOT the tenant!

I would not recommend at all. I rented a property and confirmed with them that the area was safe and that there was no trouble previously. Turns out the previous tenants were drug dealers, it had been burgled 4 times in the past year..... needless to say I was burgled, harassed for drugs etc. they were fully aware of the issues prior to renting it however, said nothing even when questioned. Also they did not fix items, repeated phone calls to get things fixed were ignored, the broken items eventually turned up as they tried to take them out of my deposit! I left after 4 months and just paid them out. It was ridiculous - avoid like the plague.

My experience of dealing with Akshar (sales lead) and Tony (sales mgr) at Andrews WP office has been quite positive. Akshar has most patiently managed my queries through the tenure of the contract negotiation and Tony managed the back end, helping secure the house buy.
