Direct reviewsExcellent service from the team at Northwood with good clear communication from the initial viewings and bidding process right through to the sales progression team. Usually there is someone on hand to give an update on the current state or they will leave a voicemail and email with any updates if I have missed a call. One point for improvement would be to be more familiar with heating systems as it caused delay, in the sellers absence, with not initially being able to demonstrate it working to the buyers causing a further rearranged viewing. Apart from that, no other complaints with any other major elements of the service provided, thanks to Lucy and Abi for their help throughout the successful sale of my house.

GoogleOverall very satisfied with the speed and quality of service by their agents. An awesome team with service-friendly minds.
Despite that, I do have a couple points of critique, more relating to the renting experience for this specific property:
1. It was not always clear which party I should contact for which issue. In my experience I found it a bit of a nuisance that I had to contact the landlord rather than Northwood for most maintenance issues.
2. The property was found by us in inadequate condition on the day of move-in. Defect electrical shower, loose kitchen cupboard panels, malfunctioning lights, etc.
3, Vital information such as meter readings and gate entry codes were either not or incorrectly communicated, which caused some issues with third parties (such as utility providers and couriers) shortly after moving in.
Aside from these couple of points, all contact was professional and prompt.

GoogleWe sold our house using Northwood's and are so glad we did. They went above & beyond every step of the way. Lucy who dealt with the initial sale was speedy to get the house on the market, deal with multiple viewings and help us get a good price from the right buyer. Abi then kept us informed on a weekly basis of how the sale was progressing, chasing solicitors and ironing our problems. We really appreciate all their hard work and would highly recommend them. Northwood's also were very fairly priced in comparison to competitor's.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding your tenancy. After concerns about the condition of the property were raised, the landlord promptly investigated and identified a roofing issue that contributed to the dampness. Recognizing the potential stress this could cause, particularly during your pregnancy, the landlord gave you the option to vacate the property prior to your fixed term expiring, to alleviate any inconvenience. However, we understand that you chose to remain in the property at that time.
Subsequently, the landlord had to serve the relevant notice, as he required the property back for personal reasons, unrelated to the complaints raised. This was done in accordance with legal requirements.
We hope this explanation provides some clarity on the situation and wish you well in your new property.
