If I could post ZERO stars I would. Absolutely abysmal service from start to finish. Zero customer service. It's hard to tell if their staff is strained to be unhelpful or just plain stupid, such is the degree of their incompetence. This business needs to be avoided. Sadly as with many in this industry, very little checks and accountability is possible so they keep on treating clients with contempt.

allAgents"Charged disgusting amount of..."
I would not recommend this agency to anybody. We made the mistake of trying to rent a property using John Shepherd only backed out after realising how ridiculously overcharged and ripped off we were being. Their fees are disgusting. And they kept all of our money that they had (unfortunately for us) already taken even though it was not possible that they done ANYTHING in the time it took us realise what was happening. I feel taken advantage of and would like to request people to avoid this company at all costs. AWFUL.

This company are an absolute disgrace. I am sadly beholden to them as I am locked into a tenancy agreement which I am unable to break. I was witness to one of the most DISGUSTING email exchanges I've ever had the displeasure of reading yesterday courtesy of their appalling excuse for a Property Manager,* and she deals (I use this term LOOSELY) with tenants based in Birmingham City Centre. I would advise anyone to avoid these piranhas at all costs.

Sam Richards at Burton cannot do enough for us as landlords, nothing is ever too much. We have a large portfolio which brings its own risks but tenant rent arrears are never an issue. Highly recommended these guys.

Tables turn when you are no longer a tenant. Holding onto the deposit for almost two weeks when only minor things were wrong with the garden nothing an hours work couldn’t fix. Super responsive when you’re helping them but when the shoes on the other foot they long you out

Very professional. They (lettings agency) told us that there was a deep coean for the apartment but when we moved we found it wasn’t cleaned properly. Also they have told us that lights were changed but when we moved, many lights weren’t changed but the landlord reimbursed us for the money we paid. They also said that they will send a receipt for the deep cleaning but until now we have received nothing.
