There weren’t any major issues, however I did have to ask for updates and it was meant to be fast track but there complications with the onward train. I would definitely use them for selling or buying though as the issues I have mentioned are always happening in any sale.

Having read all previous negative reviews with regards to ALE personally I think maybe these people are more than likely to be victims of their own idiocy. I found my experience with the purchase of my second house to be a great one,staff were amazing with a great friendly telephone manner and its safe to say I actually enjoyed speaking to the ladies who work there. Louise was the little gem that looked after my purchase and was not only empathetic towards me with regards to my useless solicitors but also gave me reassurance and helped push the case forward. All emails or phone calls were returned in a timely fashion as promised. In all honesty I could not fault them well done and thanks again ladies !

Great outcome, tough job! I had a problem with a tenant I put into a house we own on Anyon St. in Darwen. The tenant was being awkward and wouldn't pay their rent, and wouldn't let me into the property to check if they were looking after it. I was somewhat reluctant at approaching an agent as I had found the tenant myself and used my own paperwork, but I contacted Ainsworth Lord Estates one of the agents in Darwen to see if they could help me. I spoke to Tanya who advised me what my options were. She was very helpful and reassured me that the problem could be turned round. To cut a long story short they evicted the tenant and helped me recover my arrears through the courts. The property will soon be ready to rent again, but this time I'll let them do it. I'd definitely recommend to other Landlords!

Please avoid this letting agent at all costs! Ignore the fake 5 star reviews, there must be only 1 from a genuine user. Please read all reviews. This agency has a very poor reputation and all bad reviews on Facebook etc have been removed, there is no place to leave comments on the website etc. Landlords and tenants beware. We moved into a property which we told would have work done on it before we moved in and it hadn't been touched since we viewed it and was filthy. The humidity in the property reached above 80% mould and damp had been painted over, our deposit hadn't been protected in a deposit scheme, Paul is well known for being a conman and is under investigation currently and has lost in court many times. Very poor contact with the agency, lies upon lies. I would never use again and can't stress enough how poor this service is. We ended up moving out of the property after 4 months as I am a childrens nurse and my uniforms were damp and smelling of weed because the neighbours were smoking weed and there were holes in the walls that were never fixed! Never got any money back and a mouthful of abuse from Paul Ainsworth. When I phoned the council to report the property even the council knew of the company and said many tenants contact them! They also very poorly represent landlords telling me on numerous occasions ' I don't work for you I work for the landlord I wont do anything you ask'. Currently seeking legal advice. Moved out of the property and since seen it on Rightmove with wallpaper covering the mould! On the Brightside it got us out of there and into an amazing property with a great letting agency!

The team at Ainsworth Lord Estates have been great during my stay in one of their properties. I rented out the property at the start of November but at the start of January I was told my location for work was going to change which would mean that I had to re-locate as it would cost too much petrol and time to travel from Darwen each day. I approached the team with this and they put all the necessary arrangements in place so I could do this. Every member of staff at the office are always very polite and very approachable whenever there was a problem!! Absolutely loved my stay!! Thanks once again Paul and the team for all your support!! Ainsworth Lord Estates were so helpful and gave such a wonderful fantastic, personal service and they got my house sold for me in what I felt was a very good time in this current difficult market Everything was absolutely spot on in terms of the advertising and handling the viewings and so on and I was pleased with the fact that I got a really good price for my home which ALE negotiated very well for me. I have been delighted with the whole sale really. ALE are most professional and really know their business..that's for sure. I found out about ALE because my twin sons used to go to school with Paul, so it was a sort known connection and I am delighted I went with ALE. The only thing one need to say is how fantastic and excellent as an agent they are. I was delighted with everything, marketing, how long they took to sell my home ..and the very good negotiation.... everything went smoothly, nothing was too much trouble and its all worked out just right.

I found out about ALE in the local paper and they did seem to know the area very well and also knew about my type of property and its value and so on. They were helpful and did all they could do to get it sold. ALE did arrange for quite a few people to come round to view my home which was because ALE knew people who were looking and obviously they knew about all the marketing and so on . ALE advised me honestly about the price we could expect so it did go on the market properly and so had a good chance to be sold - and it has been, which is excellent. I would recommend ALE as an estate agent because they obviously know the area and what needs to be done. They have the right approach. Moving is not easy and you need the right support and ALE certainly helped get things sorted out for me so I could make my move to my new home.

Would recommend to anybody.
