Simply the best Estate agent we have ever used. Sold our house in one of the villages in the Darlington area with Carvers. Henry came to do the valuation. We asked for a price that would attract the most interes and he gave a very good valuation and explained his rationale for the figure. Henry also did the photography and a video. We were blown away by the professional quality of both. When we listed we had 16 people interested and 9 viewings booked. Henry gave good guidance with the negotiation and the fourth person to view gave us over the asking price on condition of stopping the future viewings. 8 weeks later we completed on the sale. Faultless from start to finish. I had lived in my wonderful house for 15 years and had to sell for personal reasons. It had not been decorated in many years but incredible plot and location meant i thought it would sell fast. Alas one by one purchasers cited ridiculous reasons for pulling out of the sale, i am guessing they were not genuine and found somewhere different and pulled out many times after 5 weeks, not nice. Nick Carver conducted nearly 50 viewings in total and the people that finally completed paid asking price and are delighted to have secured it. Brilliant photos, low commission rate, professional back up service after every viewing and from the Branch manager Calette and all the other office staff a huge well done .... but a special mention to the poor chap who did all the viewings , SEAN is a credit to the company and the business and i will always be grateful for his effort over 16 months to bring things to a conclusion ... he even helped me with three viewings on the new place i have also bought through carver. On our property search hundreds of miles from our home we dealt with many agents. The one that stood out for us head and shoulders above the rest was Henry Carver. We are not easily impressed with service these days but Henry used good old fashioned manners combined with up to date tech and market knowledge to make our experience so much easier.
