James, Ciaran and the team were AMAZING - I can't fault them, I wouldn't hesitate to use again in the future and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an estate agent. I went from advertising my property to exchange within 8 weeks and completion a week later. I had originally listed with a previous estate agent for 3 months and not had a single viewing, putting it down to the market but within a week with Oaks, I had viewings and offers - You can't fault that!! The photographer was organised quickly and were professional and to a high standard. James and his team were knowledgeable, super friendly and always easily contactable (email, WhatsApp etc) and I was kept up to date on any progress all the time, no matter what time of the day - this was a major factor as my previous estate agent never spoke to me! 10000% Recommend them!!!

Thanks to James and Daniel, we had a great experience purchasing through Oaks. Being first time buyers (using HTB scheme) we didn’t have much knowledge of the whole buying process, but Daniel and James were very supportive, and responded quickly to any questions we had. We have just completed our house sale with James. We chose to use Oaks in the first place after having a disappointing experience with an online estate agent when selling another property. We had a number of different agents value our property but chose to work with James because we felt his valuation was accurate, we liked James and his rate was competitive. Throughout the sale, James was proactive, efficient and friendly to work with. He sent around his sales team, Daniel and Mel, to meet us which was a really nice touch as we then had faces to the names and it meant they had more of an inside view of the property they would be selling. We have a busy family life and preparing the house for viewings was always going to be a challenge and James facilitated this by keeping viewings to the the weekends and booking them in blocks. We were delighted to achieve our asking price in a fortnight and from there James went above and beyond to ensure the transaction went smoothly. He has exceptional people skills and was able to iron out any bumps in the rounds and we exchanged and completed according to the schedule initially agreed. We are very grateful to both James and Daniel for helping us with our sale, for guiding us through a stressful time as smoothly as possible, and absolutely recommend you get in touch with them if you need an estate agent.

One star overrated

One star overrated! I would highly recommend clients to use another firm. If you want the coy boys of agents to deal with property matter these are your guys! They have boasted their many year of experience and in reality, no communication, no emails and poor attendance at a given time. I wasn’t allowed to view a property after I had a dismissed call with the agents as they couldn’t even have the decency to appear at the property. Guys don’t bother with these amateur company and be spoken to like a child. Worst customer service and dumbfounded company as to say. I hope you guys go bust!

From my initial contact with Oaks I found the service has been exceptional compared to what else I’ve experienced. James and the team listened to what I was looking for in terms of my property search and showed me a number of properties at a time which was convenient for me after working hours. I can truly say they went above and beyond to find me something suitable which in the end resulted in me securing an ideal property which I’m looking forward to moving into. This is something I feel a lot of agents promise but ultimately don’t deliver on. Not the case with Oaks in my opinion.

What was most refreshing about dealing with Oaks in Addiscombe is described in one word which, in today’s culture, is becoming increasingly rare: INTEGRITY.
