Have been lied to every time ive used them

I was manipulated into putting an offer into a property when i was lied to about the reason the last sale fell through. This resulted in a £1600 bill for me. Complaints procedure dont comment and dodge specific queries. State lying is not tolerated and then there are no actions taken to prevent it. Make sure you get everything in writing when you talk to them.

We called this company to get our house valued and potentially listed for sale. Made an appointment with Julian. He never turned up. Called the office, somebody called me back and said Julian was meant to call me to cancel as he had to go home. He never did. They said he would ring me on the next day to see if we can rearrange, again never did. It fills me with dread imagining people like this trying to sell my house. I would stay well clear.

This is my third engagement with McFarlanes (Cricklade Office) having used them previously to both rent out and sell my former home, and I have to commend them yet again for handling my current sale so well too. They have consistently exceeded my expectations by efficiently (and sympathetically) dealing with all of my problems during a messy conveyance - by providing me with assistance and advice beyond their remit 'out of hours' and late into the evening from their own homes. How good is that? Once again I have to shower Silvia with so much credit and thank her personally for her inexhaustible support and kindness. If I were a CEO, I'd head-hunt her lol. So, a big thank you to this wonderful company, and to the MD, Shaun - who is a total gentleman, for creating such a well oiled team. Wonderful service - couldn't be done better

We were delighted with the service we received from McFarlane when we sold our flat. From the first moment they took on the business we felt we were in professional hands who knew what they were doing at every stage. Dominic came to view the apartment in the first instant and was enthusiastic and agreed an asking price.. He managed to get two viewings within two days and two offers arising from those viewings. We accepted one and were then in the very capable hands of the sales progressor, Silvia. She didn't sit back and hope things would happen but was working on our behalf the entire time from acceptance of the offer to completion. She was even in touch on her days off to ensure that the sale was going forward. Fantastic service, professional and friendly from Julian, Dominic and Silvia at McFarlane. We sold our property and bought our new home through McFarlane. The process was quick, efficient and easy. From a consumer point-of-view, it's about as good as Customer Service as you can receive. Deal done!

I wanted to sell my property in Cricklade. I visited another estate agent and nearly fell asleep with the amount of waffle I got! I was surprised at the amount of process that was required. Booking this, booking that, what dates and times are you available etc etc etc. I said thanks and walked out saying I might return. I then got myself a sausage roll from the butchers as a reward to myself and proceeded to walk into McFarlenes. I was greeted by Julian and explained that I wanted to sell. He immediately knew my property, gave me a rough valuation, one which seemed fair and sensible (I'm always wary of estate agents giving over inflated valuations to get the business) and said that he already had a buyer in mind. There was no pressure to sign there and then, he told me to leave it with him, took my details and said he'd be in contact shortly. Which he duly did, saying he had a buyer. The rest as they say is history and I can barely remember it, as the Julian and Dom seemed to make the process slick and easy (although I know its not). I would suggest if you just want a deal done, go and see these guys
