Ben in particular took control of our property and sold it, it was a long process with the other side solicitors taking a long time, so he went above and beyond his job detail to make extra phone calls and reassure us, right up to completion. This company has poor communication and will disrespect you as a landlord. I tried to get the company to fix the fencing in between tenants and they did not do this. The tenants wanted things to be repaired and they did not relay the tenants concerns to myself as the landlord. They let my house get ‘run down’ and then tried to give me a ‘maintenance’ contract via their contractors to get it back into a good rental state. According to the manager -Amy Godden ( manager) - the tenants were allowed access to my house before the tenancy commenced. She informed me that industrial cleaning machines were those of the tenants. My view - don’t go here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was with Northwood for just over 14 years. I liked the fact that I would be fully protected under their platinum rent scheme, which, when I lived in spain was a great comfort. You hear so many horror stories about some tenants  ( As well as Landlords too ) so this was the deciding factor in me choosing to go with Northwood. In all the years that I was with Northwood, I can honestly say that they were great, and you actually struck up a good working relationship with whoever it was that was dealing with you at the time. Whenever anything needed doing to the property I was informed and then I had to take remedial action to fix whatever the problem was. I also liked the fact that they only used contractors that they themselves would use, this too was another thing that put my mind at rest. I never felt that when the repairs, or things that I wanted done to the property, that I'd been shafted.  I have always tried to steer people I know who want to rent their property out, towards Northwood, for the reasons I've mentioned above. There really is no downside to renting with Northwood, as far as I can tell anyway. I have since sold my house, which Northwood handled, again without any drama , or incident. The whole  process from start to finish went according to plan. So in my honest opinion I can't see for the life of me, why you'd want to rent out with anybody else. Yes you might get offered a bit more money, but stop and think for one moment, what will happen if things go pear shaped, you could very well be on your own, with Northwood, they really have got your back.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

these guys a thieves, been with a different letting agent for two years now, no pointless yearly fees like these guys do, my rent hasn't increase once, Northwood increased my rent yearly, when I moved out I left the house spotless probably just as good or better than any cleaning company would have left yet they charge you if you don't use one, AVOID!!!!

I had appointment set a week before and when I turn up on time,they don't show up. When I call in the office, instead me how I will see the property and just need to knock on the door -as I did, but again nothing. So I ended up waiting 30min on the front door and the agency send my calls to mailbox. Is not a nice way to treat pregnant lady in her wast weeks before birth. Really disappointing, necer will book viewing with them again.
