These are by far the best estate agents that I have worked with having had to deal with 3 different estate agents since 2014 for various sales. I was very pleased with the information and updates I received and the service that I received. I know it is a standing joke that estate agents are not worth the money that you pay them and I would gladly apply that to the previous 2 lots of estate agents that I have dealt with but this office certainly do not fall into that category and reversed my opinion of estate agents. Honest from the start I knew exactly what I was paying for and felt that I got that service and do not begrudge the fee that I have paid. When things stalled a bit with the buyers of the property that was being sold Sue and her team stepped in and gave a gentle nudge to get the transaction back on track. 5 Star in my opinion and I would certainly use them again if I had to.

My husband and I consistently have a great experience with Shortland Horne and after using a number of estate agents in Coventry they just don't even come close when it comes to communication, enthusiasm and the hard work they all put in to getting your property sold. Me and partner recently bought a property trough Shortland Horne estate agency at Walsgrave brunch. We are first time buyers. The service was just above the excellent. Sue was really amazing during the first viewing, she talked us a lot and was great in showing around as well as really informative talking about the neighbourhood. The process was really smooth and quick and we even managed to save. Sue and Richard made sure that everything will be ready in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this estate agency. Five starts team!

Absolutely terrible experience with this estate agent. Initially the viewing of the house was great and the process from submitting an offer to accepting. They initially agreed to sort out the building regulation issues with the seller, so I moved forward, trusting their word. After investing time, energy, and £1200 in fees, they abruptly changed their stance at the last moment, leaving me out of pocket and back at square one. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for my time and money is astounding. If you value transparency and reliability, please consider this review

I have had my property on the market with Shortland Horne for 8 months, with only 2 offers 50k under the initial asking price one of which was withdrawn. We have had no correspondence from the manager Will Green in that 8 months offering any advice. The property is now stagnant with Shortland Horne so we wish to change agents. They are now trying to tie us into another 14 days sole agency agreement as we haven’t given our notice in writing, despite some weeks ago requesting a call from Will Green. Will is also now threatening us that if any of the viewers, that they showed around in the 8 months, purchase the property from our newly appointed agents, that we will be liable to pay two agency fees! I would advise against using this agent & check your contract.

We would very highly recommend Shortland Horne (Walsgrave Road branch). Our property was valued at a high, but achievable price by Sue. Our house sold to the first viewer (thanks Richard) and Lauren was unfailingly professional and competent at answering our many telephone calls and questions during the sale and purchase of our new property. A special mention goes to Angela, who was a real God-send in ironing out the countless hassles along the way, and basically for facilitating the whole transaction! Without her knowledge and perseverance in chasing up builders, solicitors, etc we doubt that the move would have taken place. We would not hesitate to recommend SH to others, and if we ever sell our property in the future we would certainly use SH. Mick and Mandy.

I was very impressed with Shortland Horne's service during the sale of the family home of nearly 60 years, following my father's death. They were understanding of the situation and made us feel very comfortable with what could have been a very stressful and upsetting process. They took into account the fact that my sister and I did not live in Coventry and made life easy for us. The house was sold quickly, at the right price, to some lovely people.
