Property bought from Shortland Horne , Service was poor! Was blackmailed/ threaten by the agents to say seller will put on market again if we dont repsond. Our solicitor was working on our convenceying so it was not in our hands as we have given all required documents to proceed for the sale of the house. House was overpriced, when it came to valuation the bank said its over the market value by 10K ! Just overall poor experience! Agent did not tell us about back garden entrance at all too! We just found out when we got the keys ! Before completion we asked agents to inform seller about rubbish left in the garden which is still there ! Just a poor service and bad attitude spoken From Sue. Not even a thank you from them to say we bought a property from Shortland Horne. Or even a call from them to say to pick up the keys too !!

We sold our house with Sue and her team at Shortland Horne on the Walsgrave Road and from the first initial valuation everything was great. They were fantastic at block booking viewings for us, and sorting through offers with advice on the position of each buyer until we found the right one for us. They were all brilliant with keeping things moving when we had troubles with our solicitors, and overall a truly excellent and personal service. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to sell or buy a house!

Absolutely fantastic service !! From my first meeting with Rich he was very professional and knew the area and market extremely well. Rich was well prepared and spoke about a strategy to sell my house, that worked as we had multiple offers on the table for our property. The photos were impressive, the description of my house Rich wrote almost made me want to stay myself. When speaking with Lauren and Sue in the office i felt like they always knew where we were at in terms of the process and guided me along the way, liaising with solicitors to keep things moving smoothly. At one point i was calling Sue more than I was calling my family and friends as i needed reassurance everything was going as smoothly as possible. Sue was always very professional and responded quickly so there was no delay. I would not hesitate to recommend them in the future. 5 star service all round. Could not recommend enough.

Our second experience with Shortland Horne. After buying through them 5 years ago, we instructed them to sell our property and we're more than happy with the service we received. Richard gave an accurate and fair valuation and the photos Shortland Horne add to their listings are first class. Aftersales, Sue takes over and she was great. Anytime we needed a solicitor needing a nudge or something, a simple call or email to Sue and things were moving again immediately. I'm certain it was no coincidence. What I found different with Sue was her passion that she shown not only on my property but the area as well. She was in no doubt that my property would sell with no problems at all. Richard & Sue were brilliant when it came to selling our property. Firstly advert really stood out compared to other properties being advertised by other agents in the local area to ours all thanks to Richard taking the time and effort when it came to making sure everything just right. Obviously with the Covid pandemic and the joys of Christmas it wasn't the easiest of times for all involved parties, however, Shortland Horne were fantastic and managed to meet (surpass) all expectations. Sue Costello was my estate agent and she was amazing. She kept me informed within relation to proceedings and replied to emails/calls pretty much instantly.
