Have recently sold a property through Shortland Horne. Chris from the sales team gave very helpful advice prior to the property going on the market and progressed the sale very quickly and professionally. Initial paperwork for the sale was also handled very efficiently. Both these aspects would have given a five star rating but unfortunately the after sales contact let the company down. I would have liked to have been updated on progress more often than I was and felt I was left to do the chasing. Pity, because otherwise the service was brilliant. Sue Davis

Shortland Horne were great in their delivery for selling our property, at a time when it was difficult for most to sell. They made the process easy and simple to follow and were straight to the point when requesting information. My guess is that they are one of the best at being able to sell a home, since there seemed to be regular interest and viewings, and my friends selling at the same time had a much harder time gaining any interest with other Estate Agents. I would definitely use again based on this.My only reservation was that I felt left out of the loop a lot with what was going on, and didn't get very regular or thorough updates. Often I'd had to phone up or email in order to see where we were. For the most part this was not an issue, but each time I received an offer I wasn't contacted for a week to discuss it. On one occasion a few days after the offer was made and I hadn't heard anything, and then the offer was rescinded. This was frustrating at times, because even though there may have been legitimate reasons for this, I was not kept in the loop and it was stressful trying to figure out what was going on. Also the viewing updates via email were not very helpful if I'm being honest (e.g. Have more properties this week to see before making any decisions.), especially in the absence of a phone call.I liked our main contact at Shortland. She was helpful and very professional. I think every time she was away on holiday was when we had these communication issues, where no one really picked it up.Overall I'd recommend to anyone selling. But just be aware you may have to keep on top of them a little bit.

They didn't disappoint, we found them to be completely professional, we were happily looked after by Claire Reeve who managed the process of us renting our property. We found her to be genuine, helpful and consistent in all communication making us fully aware throughout each stage. Any questions we had she responded quickly to the point of going above and beyond when we had an issue within our family regarding a long term rent our mother had been in before going in to care. Claire offered us impartial yet invaluable advice that enabled me to secure the return of our mother's deposit that was being unfairly held by another company. Given our previous bad experiences with other letting agents we can confidently confirm we are thoroughly happy and will recommend Shortland Horne to others. And if you can ask for Claire

Great experience from Aaron from start to finish. My parents have special needs and needed to sell their house and move into something smaller. He was so helpful and explained each step in a way they would understand. The whole process was communicated so my parents were aware of every step. This eased their minds during a stressful stage of moving house. So grateful for the kind hardworking staff that sold my parents house within a couple of days.

Sue dealt with any issues we had in an extremely efficient manner, she made the whole experience less stressful and dealt with everything swiftly.
