FacebookRecently bought a house being sold by Shortland Horne and dealt with Samantha Bailey. She was very professional and always kept me informed of everything that was happening, more so than my own estate agents who were useless. Next time i sell a house i will be using Shortland Horne.

The team all worked together well in order to assist me in the sale of my house. In fact, they went beyond what I expected as I experienced some issues with my tenants who refused to leave the property and the Shortland team helped with relocating them. This was extremely helpful as I was out of the country at the time and could not have done anything without the assistance from Shortland.

GoogleI had a property viewing (for rent) on Friday at 4 PM. Since it is a working hour I had to push some meetings and take permission from my manager to step out. When I reached there at 3.50 there was no representative and no board from Shortland Horne. I called them at 3.55 PM and the lady said that there is still 5 mins someone will come. Nobody came till 4.05 PM. I again called, this time a man answered and after putting me on hold for sometime, he said I am sorry that property is no longer available. If that was the case Short Horne could have informed me earlier and the agent just I am sorry we haven't informed you earlier. And I was not alone, there was another family as well who came for viewing. They need to understand that other people have jobs too and if we are respectful of their time, they should be respectful of ours as well. Arranging viewing on weekday is understandable but cancelling it and not informing prospective tenants about the cancellation is not acceptable. I will never trust Shortland Horne for any of real estate needs (tenancy or buying a house)

GoogleHaving moved the sale of our home from up estates to shortland Horne (walsgrave office) it imeadiatley became apparent why they were slightly more expensive. The quality of the advert, photos & attention to detail in addition to the shear amount of effort to sell the property was fantastic & yielded a successful sale on the first viewings. I was so impressed, I sold a 2nd property through shortland Horne just 2 weeks later with exactly the same experience & result.

GoogleI sold my flat via a scheme with my new build home. Out of the 3 local estate agents put forward - Shortland Horne knocked it out of the park. - The photos made my flat look so clean and spacious - I really appreciated the effort that went into taking quality imagery. (Compared to the other agents that took photos on their mobile phones at poor angles) - When my flat went to market, they pre-booked with me a viewing day after a week of going online, to prepare for - and guaranteed viewers would book in. - When the viewers came and went, the chap doing the show arounds explained to me how they went, who would likely put in offers and also took the time to answer my various questions. (I was quite new to the process and had lots to ask!) He also explained that I should be careful about my flat being devalued, and how I should be realistic with expectations with the offers. This I also really appreciated. - When the first round of 5/6 viewings had finished, Shortland asked me if I'd like to accept any last minute viewings that they would accommodate. The more offers the better. (Compared to the other estate agent that quickly booked in 2 viewings a day after going online and confirmed an asking rate offer to me. Then they declined to do any more requested viewings because they'd got one offer!?) - Out of around 8 viewings, Shortland confirmed 5 offers all above asking price. My flat that I sold wasn't the most expensive property on the market - but the team at Shortland made me feel that I was just as valued as anybody else. Highly recommend!

GoogleSold with this branch and they were brilliant i have not had such good experiences with estate agents before but from the moment i met Sue i was happy to sign up with them she was straight to the point and delivered on every single thing she said. The marketing was great, the sales team were professional and pro active, the communication was fab and above all the thing that i valued the most was the honesty at all times. If you are thinking of selling or buying this is the only branch you should use.

GoogleI would definitely recommend Shortland Horne Estate Agents at the Waslgrave Road Branch. In particular, I was very impressed with Sue Costello and Richard Costello. We were kept up to date on a regular basis on the progress of the sale all throughout the process by Sue and Richard. Firstly, Richard came round to market the property. We were very pleased with the outcome of the great photos and video too. Thereafter, despite some issues at the bottom of the chain. Sue managed to overcome these problems and finally complete our sale. Thank you all for your efficiency and efforts.
