GoogleIn my second year of uni my landlord took my hoover and when I asked for it back and they said I had to have proof of purchase and I didn't because it was an old hoover and my landlord ended up taking it from me even though it was mine. They allow their landlords to take advantage of students and they are really unprofessional. My landlord tried to take all of my deposit and then when I'd ask for receipts of the money they claimed they needed to "clean/repaint ect" the deposit owed immediately decreased so it shows they were trying to get as much money out of us as they thought they could get away with. Envisage could have reviewed the deposit costs before even letting the landlord charge us that much without any real figures backing it up.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleWe have recently completed on our house sale with Envisage Sales and lettings . Rita communicated frequently with us from start to finish. She constantly reassured us into times when things didnt go as planned. She was always available to talk to, even out of hours and on her days off. Overall I would highly recommend envisage for your next sale or house purchase. GoogleI rarely put up online reviews, but I really had to write this one as so many things went wrong with my 2019/2020 student rental experience. I wrote a longer and more detailed review on AllAgents, but I still wanted to write this Google review as it shows up first and gets more attention. When you decide to rent the property, be prepared to pay £180 in non-refundable admin fees. We were pressured into signing the contract as fast as possible, to the point where all tenants got daily reminders about it; this would’ve been bad since we actually spotted some discrepancies in the contract (always, always read the contract carefully!). Apparently, having 1 week to let everyone read and sign the contract was too long, so we even got threatened that our rental applications would be withdrawn, and the property would go back up on the market, even though one of the purposes of admin fees was to reserve the property. Getting anything fixed takes a very long time. Calling the maintenance department leads to pretty much the same response each time, “please send us an email”. When emailing the maintenance department, expect to wait anywhere from a few days to over a week just to get a simple reply from them. It took several weeks to get a broken shower fixed, and we were fortunate to not have any other major maintenance issues. The key return and deposit refund didn’t go smoothly either. After I returned my keys at the end of July, I got an email 3 weeks later asking if I returned my keys, since they went missing. The deposit should’ve taken up to 30 days to be refunded, but this wasn’t the case. Emailing them wasn’t worth the effort, since all I got was automated replies. In the end, it took 45 days, but I imagine this would’ve taken a lot longer if I didn’t try to escalate the issue. You could blame this on understaffing due to the pandemic, but after reading other reviews from several years ago, the long deposit refund times have been going on for quite some time now. There’s several other issues I could go into, but I think the other reviews from tenants speak for themselves.

GoogleViewings were very easy and simple to organise, very up front with all fees and costs. Once we decided on the house, Louise was very helpful with all our questions with the contracts and forms. I would highly recommend this company.

GoogleAvoid avoid avoid. Never put a review on anywhere before, but this I must state. Manager is one of the rudest people you will meet. Accommodation is sub standard and not maintained what so ever. Do not use.

The agent I dealt with has been fantastic and helped tremendously with paper work etc, very responsive to messages and explained everything to me every step of the way. He also went above and beyond answering my emails in fine detail and responding to my phone calls quickly whenever I called in. Could not have asked for a better agent to help get this over the line. GoogleOne of the worst estate company to deal with. They attempted to take advantage of my father since he doesn't speak english by trying to make him sign a contract. In addition, we complained about having mould in the house for years and they never did anything about it. After we moved out they didn't give back our deposit because according to them the mould was our fault and the garden was not clean even tho it was cleaner and tidier than it was when we first moved in. WORST AGENTS IN COVENTRY AVOID!

GoogleI am a current tenant of one of the properties listed to envisage. And unfortunately i have had problems with them well before moving in to the property, from paperwork, to documents and simple communication. Their staff are extremely excluding Leon who dealt with me with respect. My buddy from abroad also experienced the same. once they had the money in their pockets, they do not care. we have had issues since moving in in September, and yet they have not been solved. they threaten us with ruining our credit history, and more, but but have not resolved any issues with the property till now. i will definitely not recommend them to anybody. They are extremely unprofessional, and at times turn up unannounced. it took my buddy writing a bad review until they even contacted him, in which they pleaded for him to remove the review, which i will not be doing. Extremely disappointed, and would not recommend to the most desperate of those looking for a property!!!!!!

GoogleThey will take from your deposit 75£ for cleaning even if you leave the room 100% clean. They take ages to answer your email and sometimes ignore you , especially the deposit department. I don’t recommend

GoogleDon't trust these people. They will not respond to any of your issues inside property and trying to loot money from us with unreasonable answers. Costed us for the damages we didn't do and played tricks to deduct deposit from us. Never ever listen to Julie Neville, the lady reason for everything happens.

GoogleIf i could give less than 1 star, I would. DO NOT USE THEM EVER NO MATTER WHAT YOU WILL REGRET IT! Every single worker at the Envisage company treats students like absolute dirt. They ripped us off from the beginning, and then took us from more money once we moved out through our deposit. It would take too long to explain all the awful things they did to us during the year, such as leaving us with a broken fridge/freezer for 5 months even though we emailed and rung constantly for the 5 months; brought cleaners into our home with NO warning and THREW OUR STUFF AWAY including converse trainers, personal belongings etc. and then would not replace them and the list goes on and on. Honestly, student to student DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID THIS LETTING AGENTS!!!!!!

GoogleBiggest scammers in town! They'll give the worst service u can imagine and then they'll take your money and you can do nothing about it! I don't know where to begin from. When you go for a quick viewing you won't notice how you are being ripped off. From the sloppy bendable table in my room which looked pretty normal at the first glance but on day 1 I leaned on it and it fell over nearly broke my arm and half the stuff on it. Then they came and "fixed it" and I was extra cautious with it from then on until a few weeks after, the night before my exam while I was studying for it I leaned my elbow on it and the table again fell off and got my laptop broken with all my stuff on the floor, and I had to continue studying in the kitchen! And the day after when went to their office they offrered me to "fix it" again and of course I refused and ask for a NORMAL TABLE which they charged me for it!! During the 9 months of stay, in total I would say we didn't have heating for 2 MONTHS the bigger part of which was the coldest part of the winter!!! Everytime u have any maintenance required (which happens very often) it takes an email and at least 3 phone calls and AT LEAST 3 days until they get something "fixed". The heater went off LITERALLY 7 TIMES. and every time it would take up to a week until they fix it and then it would go off a week after if not the next day. Recently I visited the exact same house bcs I had to collect a parcel and I heard from the tenants the heater is still not working! At the end of the tenancy period I handed in the room in the exact same condition as I received it and they REDUCED £70 FROM MY DEPOSITE for bed slats and deep cleaning the room!!! And I could do nothing about bcs they were right except that I RECIEVED IT THAT WAY. But didn't have evidence to support it. And I know for a fact that it wasn't just me!! Every single other house mate got charged for similar things! If you are considering renting a place from them DON'T! And if you have fallen into their trap already like us record everything from day 1 and keep as evidence. Smallest problem you see record it.

GoogleI work as a housing officer and I need to secure suitable accommodation for families. Some families have disabilities and we require adaptations to properties. I have been working with Envisage for some time now and they have been very helpful and accomdating. Louise has gone out of her way to help and support our families. Steve has helped get landlords on board and carry out adaptations that we require. Manny has always been on hand to show us new and suitable properties. We will continue to use Envisage, one of the best letting agencies in Coventry. Great work guys, keep it up!!! Azma.

GoogleLived in a property rented by envisage for 2+ years. No serious problems - only complaint is that they will put the property on the market 6 months or so before the new term, so you have to have a full house available in advance - but after contacting Louise Finlay (who I'd highly recommend) a compromise was made whereby we could reserve the 4 bedroom property with only 3 tenants until an additional one was found. Otherwise for former tenants full deposits have been returned, and the agency charges no fees beyond the renewal cost + the original administration fee.

GoogleIf giving no stars was a possibility than I would. After renting a student property from the estate agents for the past year I’ve been left with nothing but hatred for this letting agency. I was paying for a room in a property which was covered in damp and mould. Despite sending multiple emails about this issue nothing was done so I moved out and continue paying my rent as it was affecting my health that much. At that point they decided to sort out the issue by putting in dehumidifiers. The agency itself and the landlord who owned the agency are incredibly rude! I would not recommend this place to anyone ever!
