Made a booking to view this house , had 1 SMS text to confirm on the day we made the call and then a call an hour before to make sure we are still coming . Travelled 45 minutes to get to the house viewing … to find nobody was there , house was empty . Called the store 15 minutes after as they might of been late to be told “oh your viewer Carl had gone AWOL and not answering his phone so we will have to cancel you viewing and we’re not sure when we can fit you in next” devastated to face this as a first time buyer - has left a sour taste in my mouth as to be called confirming our viewing an hour before but then have to chase them up against to be told nobody’s coming and they’re sorry. I would avoid at all costs and wouldn’t recommend for any buyer especially a first time buyer who’s excited to take a next step in buying a home and faced what we did today.

Didn’t turn up for a viewing.. We received an SMS confirmation with the time and location of the viewing, and also received a phone call an hour before to check we were still attending. We were waiting 15 minutes before we rang the branch and were told they couldn’t get hold of the person our viewing was with and didn’t know where he was. As first time buyers this is not a great impression and start to our house buying journey. We’re very disappointed and will be looking to take our business elsewhere.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, currently trying to hold us to an additional year despite previously giving them notice. They say auto renewal has happened as my most recent correspondence was 5 days past a three month notice period (again notice has been served previously 12 months ago.) They are also double the price of the competitor we are moving too as an estate agency

I had a very disappointing experience with this agency. They confirmed my property viewing, and I even took a day off to attend. However, when I arrived at the location, I was informed by L.Bailey that the viewing had been canceled, without any prior notice. It was highly unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. A simple notification would have been appreciated. I would not recommend dealing with such unreliable service.

Saw a property come on rightmove on 7 Jan and sent a communication about it on 8/1 no response for a viewing so rang late on 9/1 and a lady took my details to pass on and said someone would ring me next day, no contact so on 12/1 I sent another rightmove enquiry, later on that day after hearing nothing I rang and spoke to a member of staff who after quite a strained call said someone had tried to call me but, as I advised, I checked my call history prior to ringing and nothing. Subsequently I missed the opportunity to view and purchase this property due to this whole scenario. I am extremely disappointed with this total lack of communication after a total of 4 attempts on my part.

Elizabeth is an excellent estate agent. From the moment we met her, we were never going to ask anyone else to sell our house. She is enthusiastic and really knows what she is doing. She quickly identified the major selling points of the house and came up with an effective marketing strategy. Her offer to viewing ratio was incredible. It is fair to say that our sale wasn’t the smoothest ever - largely due to the impact of the pandemic and very odd behaviour by some buyers - but Elizabeth was supportive at every stage and came up with workable solutions incredibly quickly. It is to Elizabeth’s credit that our sale went through and we are now in our new house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elizabeth. Thank you!

My review could consist of 4 words. Lizzy Dinnis is wonderful. But I'm going to write a little more to explain why. Elizabeth impressed us enormously right from the start. Her valuation of the house was done over video so as to be covid secure, and it was immediately clear her knowledge of the area and housing stock was extensive. Not only that but her absolute warmth and genuine care came across so acutely that we knew there could only be one person to sell for us. We were rewarded in this choice by gaining a brilliant professional and someone who we could chat with easily at any time. Her understanding of the market meant we chose the right price point, and her style of marketing suited our lovely cosy terrace perfectly. The photos were taken safely, with us out of the house and coupled with the brilliantly written details allowed the buyer to see the way we lived here. We gained immediate interest and Lizzy compiled the interested parties into a day long list of individual viewings which meant we could safely be out of the house and she would handle it all - which as someone who was shielding couldn't have been more appreciated. I'm sure it won't surprise anyone who has worked with Elizabeth to know that it sold on this first day, above asking price. We couldn't have been happier or more thankful. Following this, we were supported by Lizzy throughout the conveyancing process; she was available to chat to or email any concerns or questions and we extend thanks to Rebecca the sale progressor from the ASAP team that is part of the ewemove package. They handle all of the conveyancing services including appointing a solicitor and keeping the whole system moving with Lizzy as the integral touchstone. Moving in a pandemic isn't easy, but every single part of it was managed brilliantly by Elizabeth Dinnis. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her with our highest regard. Thank you doesn't seem like enough for the level of thought, care, attention to detail and professionalism, but it's the best I have. Lizzy, we appreciated it all soo much. Thank you.

Practically Perfect - Like many people I was somewhat depressed at thoughts of dealing with an Estate Agent to sell our home. Yvonne has proved me wrong in every way. Yvonne has gently guided us as to what buyers are looking for, taken fantastic pictures of our home and given really valuable feedback about how things are going. Yvonne is also assisting my daughter with the sale of her home. There was a constant stream of viewers and there were five offers to buy, all in the space of three weeks ! Cue, one happy daughter. I would recommend Yvonne to friends, family and everyone - DO NOT use any other agent to sell your house, you will regret it.
