We’ve have just sold our property with PFK, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone interestedly in listing their house. A great combination of support, friendliness and professionalism. Many thanks to the whole Cockermouth team, and particularly to Pauline, for her calm approach to any issue based on her excellent knowledge of the process, and initially Michael, for his very high quality marketing skills and wide understanding of the Cumbrian house market. A great team !

I am very happy with their service. My house was sold within 3 months for the exactly asking price. Photos of the house were very professional and interaction with an agent very pleasant. Definitely recommend this agency. Thank you!

Not as expected…

Initial contact and eventual comms - ok. Hence 2 stars. Viewed a property, submitted an offer (a lot lower than the asking given work required and amount of time already on market), received no feedback. Chased to be told vendors were considering options, only to see the price reduced (again), without any revisit to my initial offer to negotiate. Personally, I wouldn’t sell via PFK after this experience.

Our praise can not be high enough for the service we received from PFK Estate Agents. From our first contact with Julie we knew we were in safe hands, she has a warm, friendly and attentive attitude. All the staff in branch have been fabulous and already we feel part of the community that we have moved into.

I'm extremely satisfied with PFK. They provided me with a house valuation that was 20% higher than other estate agents, and they exceeded my expectations by finding a buyer who offered above the asking price! I want to give a special shout-out to Julie and Charlie for their outstanding dedication in securing the sale. Their willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference.

After many months of searching for our forever home we were thrilled to be contacted by Julie to tell us about a property that she thought we would be interested in - despite a huge amount of interest in it anyway. We had a property to sell but she gave us the opportunity to see it and as soon as we saw it, we knew it was the one for us. We put our own property on the market which sold within three days. Our offer was accepted and we are currently waiting for the solicitor to complete the legalities. Full marks to Julie and her colleagues at PFK Cockermouth. We will be forever grateful that you picked up the telephone and rang us.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Leslie spent as much time as was needed getting to know our house and understanding our needs and aspirations. She gave us a return call a couple of days later to discuss marketing our property and followed this up with a letter containing all the details discussed. We never experienced any sales pressure at all and have every confidence that PFK will market our house professionally and achieve the best deal for us.

We bought our house through PFK Cockermouth and dealt with Michael Hewitt, who was absolutely brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and he really went above and beyond to get everything sorted on what was quite a difficult chain. In fact better than our own Agent. I would highly recommend this company and Michael in particular. 5 star service with a smile!!

The Cockermouth team did a great job, both in terms of administration - the organisation of viewings and feedback was seamless - and on providing guidance throughout the process. Particular mention for Pauline who was the main point of contact for the sale, and for Michael for his guidance and advice on all aspects of moving in this area.

The sale of my property could not have gone any smoother. Lesley was enthusiastic, friendly & helpful the moment she walked through the door. Her photos were excellent and her description of my property perfect. Charlie constantly sent me updates & was always available to answer my many questions. PFK Whitehaven are by far the best agents I've ever dealt with.......it's all about trust!!

Myself and my boyfriend purchased our first home with the help of Charlie at PFK Cockermouth. The process I imagine can be very stressful but he made the task feel like an absolute breeze from start to finish. We couldn't thank him and the rest of the team enough! Would highly recommend.
