GoogleTried twice to make appointment to sell development land with Whitehaven office and both times PFK failed to respond despite saying they would. On 3rd occasion was told the only lady (manager) able to respond was out on calls and not able to action this week (its Monday!) GoogleI have been involved with two house sales this year. My house and my partner's. Both marketed by PFK. The first thing I should say is that this review is not personal or PFK specific. I've used a lot of agents over the years. Everyone that I have dealt with was polite, friendly and, no doubt, trying to do a good job. So this review is more about Estate Agency in England rather than PFK specifically. They are unprofessional. There are no qualifications required, no regulation and no standards for the service they provide. And yet, typically, they are the most expensive people you will employ when you move. Far more expensive than your highly qualified, tightly regulated, fully professional conveyancer/solicitor. In short, apart from getting your property onto Rightmove, they are hopeless. My advice is use whatever Estate Agency that gets you on to Rightmove most cheaply and spend a little more on a good conveyancer/solicitor. And be prepared to get on the phone and chase everything through to completion yourself.
