GoogleDrove 3 Hours for a viewing and turns out they didn't have the correct keys. Very unprofessional & incompetent from Southernbrook to not check if they had the correct keys knowing we came a long way. Update: The estate agent tried calling us to take down this review. I would have given it 0 stars if I could but the lowest I can give is 1

On this occasion, the previous managing agent had changed the locks without telling anyone and therefore we had the wrong key. We did call you to explain this and also again afterwards to apologise for the inconvenience, but unfortunately this was out of our hands. All the team went out of their way to ensure a pleasant and smooth move took place Nothing was too much trouble.And there was always smiles when I had to go to the office Hayley Joe Lauren And Jade ur all brilliant. GoogleI would never use this agency even if I was made homeless, Joshua Newton Cert DEA Assistant Manager has purposefully and with intent refused me access to viewing properties within the Southernbrook Lettings portfolio. This is pure discrimination based on me challenging their lack of response and caring to countless enquiries about letting opportunities as advertised on Rightmove. I have written a motivational letter asking for help in a time when we were in desperate need of finding accomodation and been totally ignored. Every week I send requests asking to view properties and because this one individual has taken a dislike and offense to my comments, refuses to allow me to view properties. Very unprofessional
Dear Mark, We can assure you no one in our business discriminates anybody. It is very tricky in the rental market at the moment to find everybody their perfect home as quite simply supply is so little against hundreds of people demanding properties. We do not understand your comments within your review as you sent through an enquiry yesterday on a property, we called and emailed you twice after this to arrange a viewing. You then called back and spoke with Joshua who arranged a viewing for you next week? GoogleI cannot recommend the agency enough. Jamie Price listened and understood my circumstances and responded with compassion, professionalism and efficiency. I am very appreciative of the help received. The turnaround of securing a property from enquiry was much quicker than expected and this was down to Jamie's approach and flexibility, in accordance to my situation. The support received and the move into my new place will make a huge difference to my life and I can now see a way forward. Thank you so much!

He was very professional when we arrived he showed a clear knowledge of the new covid rules. GoogleThe mark of a outstanding company is the support you get when a massive problem occurs 24 hours before key pickup. I had 5 hormonal teens left disappointed and unable to move in tomorrow due to a problem my end caused by my very unhelpful bank! Alice and Joe understood and reassured me they will do all they can to support me in the pickle I found myself in!! Alice with her reassurance and Joe being proactive and contacting the landlord, got agreement on a solution that worked all round that allowed the the 5 musketeers to not have to cancel the moving vans (parents) and have to endure another night with the oldies!! Just as important their swift actions have saved me from a weekend of pain and total misery all-round! Would recommend these guys if your looking to let out your property and work with an agent that's accessible when your having a crisis moment!

GoogleDespite being busy with several viewings, this agent invited me in to wait comfortably until she was available and was very informative, polite and helpful during my viewing. Although offers had already been made she still appeared enthusiastic and interested in my situation which was very encouraging and made me feel my time wasn't being wasted. She offered me her business card on leaving and the office-based agent was quick to contact me for the follow-up. Their professionalism as a team was evident.

GoogleSouthernbrook do a good fully managed service at a reasonable cost. They have been very efficient at finding new tenants for my flat after the previous tenants moved out - in fact, there was less than a week between the old tenancy ending and the new tenants moving in! It's nearly always possible to contact them immediately by phone during the week, and it's a great advantage to be able to visit them in the local office when needed, and to know the staff by name. They will sort out almost anything which needs doing at my flat (although at a cost!) As with any letting agent, it's best to have a balance between getting the basics done (EPC, gas safety etc) via your agents, and shopping around for the bigger tasks (new kitchen, new boiler etc.). Southernbrook are approachable, flexible and good at dealing with the legal side of letting, such as tenancy agreements. Recommended

GoogleNot interested in creating a good relationship with tenants only interested in money and making sure they can do as little as possible. Multiple problems with the house including a leaking roof, which needed fixing and serious mould, which when I commented to an employee was told "you should see next doors if you think that's bad" House inventory on entering the house was all far off pics but on leaving they took close up pictures of pre existing issues. Not a good company to rent from.
