GoogleAs a multi property landlord in Chichester, I have extensively researched the local agents & I constantly use Southernbrook Lettings for my re let's, as I have personally found them the best agent in the city for effeciency in getting the property let, to the full administration programme that follows. My most recent re let in Runcton, I want to mention 'Chloe Bailey' as a stand out performer for her excellent communication and effeciency, she is a real credit to the admin team, I am a Landlord who requires excellent attention to detail and I need excellent communication in every stage of the process to secure further business for the team, Chloe has performed excellently and deserves a well earned 5 star review! GoogleWe were looking for a place for my Dad as he wasn't getting on well in a care home and we found the perfect property with Josh Newton at Southernbrooks who completely understood our requirements and we have now moved my Dad in with his carer yesterday. Josh was great as he came out again to assist me in measuring up the place after paying the holding deposit and then when the admin of the letting was handed over to Penny Barc she was super helpful as well. Lots of forms to fill in on line but all simple and straightforward. Many thanks to everyone at Southernbrooks for making what we thought impossible to achieve in two weeks entirely possible :)

GoogleVery bad overall experience with southernbrook. Was unable shut and secure my bathroom window for 3 months over winter after notifying the landlord and maintenance, loosing security too the property and having to Bath a 2 year old in a freezing room. Multiple times left with no heating or hot water because the boiler was on its last legs and kept breaking down, Even the boiler man told me that he had tried to convince the landlord to replace it. Very difficult check out as even though I bettered the flat (stripped the old damaged wall paper to then paint the flat and replaced broken curtain poles etc). The money hungry landlord still wanted to try and squeeze me for a penny (£88!) To clean an oven (which in my opinion DEFINITELY needed replacing). In my opinion, I would not recommend this business to friends and family. I would also consider renaming as SouthernCrooks.

We are very surprised to receive this feedback as we have always had a good relationship with yourself, and repairs have been seen to as quickly as possible when authorised by the landlord. We also worked hard to reduce the costs after the checkout for you, halving the cost originally quoted. If you would like to give us a call to discuss further then please do.

GoogleSouthernbrook are first class. Sharon and team cannot and could not do any more for me. In my first property they did everything they possibly could to get me in as quick as they could. And now they are helping me with a new property. I would recommend southernbrook to anybody and everybody. They are friendly kind and very very down to earth. You will never ever find hidden charges , once they tell you what they expect for set up fees deposits ect that is it. They are ALWAYS approachable either by phone or e mail and they will always answer you.

All the team went out of their way to ensure a pleasant and smooth move took place Nothing was too much trouble.And there was always smiles when I had to go to the office Hayley Joe Lauren And Jade ur all brilliant. GoogleBad service for us as tenants , we rented before with other letting agents they were all fine. Southernbrooks letting agents are awful , only supports landlords and they will find all sorts of ways and excuses to take your deposit away from you . Be careful with these kind of people who uses you especially if you are immigrants . The property initially was managed by landlord then gave back to agency , they dealt with the property without knowing the issues we dealt with and they were acting like landlord’s puppet. They won’t support with anything no matter what you ask for. Previous the outside of the property was managed by landlord and all of a sudden when we asked for bush cutting , it became our responsibility and they even deducted huge money from our deposit for cutting really limited bushes , despite we cut them before we move out . They grew which i understand and they deducted around 309 pounds for what , i don’t know. It was a small flat where kitchen and living room was a tiny space and a bedroom. They say for bush cuttings and carpet cleaning. They are clearly robbing. We have cleaned the flat thoroughly. We had to pay 1 months rent without living in it . They did no arrangements or adjustments. I didn’t file a complaint beca I needed the rest of the money urgently and they are clearly using the situation.There are different nice letting agents we met after these awful people. Stay away from these agency-Caution!
