GoogleDelightful to buy a house with. I had a particularly complicated set of circumstances as I was buying while working abroad. The team, special mentions to Amy and Louise, were extremely helpful and understanding and I wanted to use this review to express my gratitude to them. I was also greatly aided by Beresford Adams being part of the Countrywide group as it helped me to speed up processes that would have taken much longer or even jeopardised the purchase. A particular mention to Thuin from the Countrywide, who works in the Beresford Adams Chester office. He was in constant and prompt contact with my solicitor leading up to the sale to make sure that the insurance policies matched my mortgage broker's requirements (which were more complicated than normal due to my working abroad). Everyone I spoke to at their office always provided sound, sensible and well-measured advice. I will rent the property out until I return from my travels and I look forward to working with Beresford Adams Chester to do this and I am confident that I will be able to post an excellent review of that part of their service in the future.

GoogleThe Chester team has been incredibly attentive, supportive and responsive during our rather challenging home-buying journey. Katrina Halliday in particular has been a real star throughout, always getting back to us promptly regardless of the pressures and difficulties, and always positive, proactive and authentic. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we know that she made a massive difference to getting us the house we wanted. We're very grateful.

GoogleThe past two and a half years, my partner and I have been trying to find a place for us in Chester. Thanks to the talented agents at Beresford Adams, we’re about to pass 1 month in our new home. They have enough experience to give an educated answer to pretty much every question you ask, and they have the customer service knowledge to listen to question they don’t know the answer to, let you know they’ll find out for you, and give you the accurate answer for it within two days at most. They handled a very quick turn around from viewing the property, to putting it on hold, to signing our tenancy agreement, to moving in within three weeks with ease. They’re extremely friendly and personable, willing to talk to you and have a proper chat while either viewing a property or signing a tenancy. They also are able to give you the privacy to view a property on your own to form your own opinions on it. They don’t pressure you into anything you’re not comfortable with. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more.

GoogleLack of Communication throughout my tenancy. i moved out of the property on 8th August and the Landlord text to say she was happy with returning my deposit. i did not receive any correspondence from Beresford Adams. i called to find that i should have been sent a deposit release form which i got sent and returned on 10th Sept, i am still waiting on a response, they don't answer the phone and no replies to my emails. unfortunately for them i work in Chester and will probably end up paying them a visit in person if this continues... poor customer service.

GoogleHaving my parents property sold for full asking price on the day it went on the market I was keen to use the same agency to sell mine. I spoke to the Branch Manager, Louise who quickly established the property I was looking to sell and who it would appeal to. Later that day a viewing was proposed prior to placing on the market which I accepted. It was precisely what the purchaser was looking for and again the full asking price was offered which I accepted. This all happened within 3 days of contact with the branch. It's hard to quantify the amount of time and money saved through using this branch but clearly I couldn't rate highly enough. Now in the process of purchasing I can first hand see the difference in service provided by sellers using online based agents, the last viewing didn't even know we were coming. I would always priorities this service in future and will be returning back to this branch for my next sale in a heartbeat! Thanks to all the team and Louise in particular

My advisor was Thuin and through every step of the way provided me with his expertise and help. He was informative and provided imparcial advice regarding our home as we are unsure whether we want to move or not. I did not feel any pressure from Kevin to sell our home, nor to go with Beresford Adams.

Awful. I have been in the rental market for a good while but haven't come across a letting agent quite as unprofessional as this company. I have been without hot water for nearly 7 weeks at the time of writing this and they don't seem to care at all. As well as this it was lucky I found a note from the previous tenant explaining where the water valves and fuses were etc because the letting agent didn't have a clue. Very, very disappointed.

TrustpilotWhen viewing a cottage the agent told…
When viewing a cottage the agent told us that the log burner was working! and that there was a parking space for one vehicle at the rear of the cottage. We went ahead and purchased the house. I went to pick up the keys from the Colwyn Bay office as agreed to be told the house was still occupied,and I’d have to go back the next day, I found the agent very abrupt and rather rude! When we finally got into the house the vendors had left a huge wardrobe in a bedroom, the log burner was in disrepair and obviously not been used for years! The car space at the rear of the house was only suitable for a very small vehicle. I contacted the office regarding the wardrobe the vendor had kindly left us with, the advisor wasn’t interest at all.. told me to take the matter up with a solicitor, although I hadn’t signed any agreements to have the wardrobe. I feel that Beresford Adams are only look after the vendors interests and needs,the customers service is extremely poor I won’t be recommending this estate agent and I wouldn’t view/sell a house through them again.

shame I can't leave one star. rented a property from them Anglesey Branch, property management team are rude and hopeless, roof has leaked since October last year and I mean properly leaked, place is damp and rotten throughout. extensive damp and mould issues, we have been ignored and left to suffer. moving out soon thank god. Landlord who lives out the country is besides himself with how bad the property has been allowed to become under beresfords care, it needs thousands to be repaired. we've lost huge amounts of personal belongings from the leak and damp. grateful to be leaving, but leaving out of pocket and without a lot of personal items due to them being damaged.
